I did it, you have to install 455 driver then mark manual installation option then flash for example on the base the firmware associate with the driver
Ciao,
Ok nice to hear this. Did you try it? Is the issue you have solved?

Yeah i tried with driver 462 and old dd2 wheel base firmware (3.0.4.3) no issues with gears in general so for the moment i will stay with this firmware waiting for an update
When will DD extreme get the firmware to fix OLED screen currently unable to adjust settings on wheel or update info from game ? Is there a way to roll back firmware if so how was working fine on 457 firmware. How does updating make it break?

To fix something first an issue has to get reported, which is not the case up until now so we are not aware of any new issue regarding the GT SW X OLED Display.
Please explain in more Detail what the issue is so the devs can have a look at it so the issue gets fixed in the future.

Im pretty sure its a Fanalab thing as all LEDS on the wheel stop responding after only a couple minutes and even pressing the tuning button does nothing

That has nothing to do with FanaLab, something like this can only be firmware.

I already asked once and you replied, but just a reminder to please add support for the GT Extreme Wheel. Want to use it with different Wheel Bases also. :) Thank you.

It is still planned to add support for the GT X wheel to other bases AFIK but this is currently not being worked on, so not coming anytime soon. First the issues the wheel has on the CS DD need to get fixed before we can even think about adding support for other bases...

Yes it's true, today I downgraded to version 455 and everything works well, very different from the 463, it changes the intensity of the FFB, I hope I can solve the problems with version 463

If you report a driver or firmware issue, please make cross checks:
Update driver and FW separately to isolate an issue and find out if caused by driver OR firmware.
Which driver OR firmware shows the issue
Which driver OR firmware does not show the issue
Check if you can reproduce the issue again if you go back to the version which seems to have caused the issue
Check if the issue is related to specific settings of for example the tuning menu. Is it happening more or less with a specific setting raised or lowered?
Post the answers gathered from the questions above + a short description of the issue including the following info:

Known Issues
When updating the CS DD base firmware, the wheel might not be detected until performing a restart. This is explained in a pop-up during the update procedure.
When entering a game menu while driving it can happen in some games that the FFB effect doesn't get canceled which results in the wheel turning to one side. (this got now fixed for the Podium DD but can still happen on the CSL DD. We will now apply the fix for the CSL DD as well)
Natural friction can start to feel weird after some time of driving. In case you experience issues with NFR, we suggest to turn it OFF for now. (this got now fixed for the Podium DD but can still happen on the CSL DD. We will now apply the fix for the CSL DD as well)
The steering input jump issue was greatly improved so the issue happens a lot less than before. Full fix expected for one of the next versions.
The quick-link you gave is not for the Driver 463 ... (It's for FanaLab {FanaLab_x86_v2.01.54.msi} and not an updated Driver)
I'm trying to fix this issue that every time i put a steering wheel on (Any Wheel) it turns off my base and the red light pulsates. If I remove the steering wheel, there's not problem and it recognizes the base, shifter and pedals. I've tried installing older versions and it keeps doing the same thing. Please help!
I found the right file... I have the latest driver installed (OJFN0PLQ3ZMA.zip -> 024.10.24-Fanatec_Driver_463) and my DD Pro base with Boosted 180 for 8Nm Firmware is Driver 455 version (1.1.11.3). It worked for a little bit, but it disconnected once again. Now every time I turn the base on, with wheel on, it doesn't even see anything, and the power button pulsates in red and purple and I cannot switch the mode.
I have to disconnect the wheel, power ON and it will work no problem. As soon as I connect a wheel (any wheel) it disconnects again and the mode/power light pulsates again . I don't know why it worked for a little bit then back to the same dilemma.

Since it is the same with any wheel then the problem lies on the base side. Sounds like the pins inside the shaft do note make (good enough) contact with the wheel? Inspect if any pin is bent or broken or pushed deeper inside the shaft.

what jump you talk?
It is still on the list for further investigations and improvements in the future, yes.

Hi Maurice
My DD + Wheelbase is only showing me low torque mode.
No matter if a Wheel is attached or not.
I'm using a McLaren GT3 with QR2 Metal.
It usually always showed 15NM High Torque Mode.
But today it suddenly changed to low torque.
Even if I pull of the Wheel from the Wheelbase it is stuck in low torque mode.
What can I do to get it back to high torque mode.
Amazing.
Thank you.
Increíble como funciona. Muchas gracias.
Maurice
I can't update my WQR.
It always says an error occurred.
Then it says WQR is up to date showing 0.0.0.0
When I turn on off and on the Wheelbase it again shows the old WQR Firmware 0.6.5.0
I tried updating multiple times.
Always same error message.
What can I do
DD+ updating from FW used in 462 to 463 - no issues other than the reconnect on the last step where it just repeats trying to connect to usb
Power cycle the base and came back ok. So far no issues running GT7
Settings saved and restored successfully. Issue w NDP being set to 50 is fixed -thx

is there anyone in here with a PBMR and tested out that new fw and can confirm that some of these bunch of bugs at the PBMR are fixed?
No BMR Bugs are fixed compared to the ones which 457 had already fixed.
The paddle shifters on my Formula V2.5 don't respond on occasion since updating the firmware.
Currently under investigation to get fixed in a future firmware update.
Is there a solution or am I screwed for the time being?
Only solution is to downgrade back to firmwares included in driver 455.
Thanks Maurice, I'll check that out.
