Hello, I believe I have connected the app to my PC properly, however, I cannot access the tuning menu as it shows 'No Tuning Menu Control compatible device detected. Auto Setup locked'. I am on driver 445. Please help me make it work. Thank you.
Is the Tuning Menu maybe in Auto Setup? Then settings can't be changed as they are fixed to the default until overwritten by a game sending settings. If you want to adjust the settings you need to switch to Custom Setups

We have updated the TrayApp to now also support F1 22. Would be great if you could give it a try and let me know if it works correctly. We will also do some testing on our side and then make the improvements public with one of the next driver versions.

Don't have time to try right now but is this solving the same issue with Dirt Rally 2.0? I.e. the app binding to the same udp port as Fanalab does?
No I don't think that is fixed with the changes of this version. But we are planning to merge the ITM of the app and FanaLab which should fix the UDP issue.

Can you test if this new version also has the issue? There were some improvements made and maybe that solved your issue as well.

Thanks for your reply. I shared 5G hotspot to my PC and the app was connected to the PC successfully. The ITM was working properly.
Do you have the chance to try via WiFi only to compare the functionality so we know if its a general issue for you or if its caused by sharing 5G through hotspot to PC at the same time?

I think its not an issue of FanaLab running at the same time as the mobile phone app because this is normally not a problem and worked fine in my testing. The issue rather seems that F1 22 is not yet supported by the phone app and was just implemented into FanaLab 1.66. We need to carry over the implementation of F1 22 to the phone app as well and eventually merge the backend of both so implementations of new games don't need to be done twice. As the phone app is still in alpha, its still running separate and games are added a bit slower to it than to FanaLab at the moment.

Yes with the latest TrayApp it's compatible with F1 22.

You get no data BECAUSE you have set it to broadcast.

Thanks, we've put the FFB graph feature request on our list and will investigate.
If you the buttons in the bottom right to switch between ITM and Tuning Menu, you won't need to re-connect. If the buttons are currently not shown because they fade out on the ITM screens, then you need to press the screen for ~1 sec for them to re-appear.
But I agree that it should also quicker reconnect when you've completely left either ITM or the Tuning Menu. The last IP used is already listed, it should be easy to let the app immediately try this connection but we then need to implement the option to change the IP also if it auto-reconnected because maybe you want to disconnect to a different PC this time.

Not yet planed, but if it gets requested enough we might consider to take a look if it's possible. It would require the base to share this data which it is not doing yet, also the additional load on the communication then has to be kept in mind.
It would be fantastic if you could utilize a clipping meter of some sort displaying while running a SIM because as stated it is difficult to read the small diagnostic screen on the DD1/ 2 while driving

This sounds like one is showing Auto setup in a list, resulting in a total of 6 possible setups and the other one is not showing the Auto Setup which will result in 5 possible setups. Because Auto Setup is at the beginning of the list it takes the place of S_1 creating a miss-match of settings if the other software is not having Auto Setup. But if everything is up to date, it should not be an issue.

I can not find a way to uninstall the tray app? In add/remove programs there's only the full fanatec driver that I could uninstall, and nowhere can i find a place to disable the tray app alone. If I right click on the tray app and Quit then my machine is fine. Any guidance on getting rid of the tray app?

You can uninstall the driver and re-install it without using the tray app or you can delete the "app" folder.

Is it with a specific car in iRacing? Having tried a few I couldn't reproduce the issue so far.

It worked fine with this version, but i tried back the 0.41 and also worked fine, so should by just a single time fail

The Tuning Menu was not in Auto Setup mode. I attached a pic of the app. I update to the 447 driver and still no luck.
Mhm, you are connected via 5G.
For the app to work you need to be in the same network as the PC, so in WLAN. Maybe that's the reason why it's not working for you..
