mate, one of the things that i think is a problem, is that i probably do miss out on some response and detail because i turn things down. i usually run with it around 9nm so I don't aggravate my civil war injuries :)
It would be great to try some setting's that are focused on the lower end of the ff. I'm not sure if it would make much difference
These are Maurice's personal profiles which he kindly shares with us. If they are not to your liking, do what the rest of us do, adjust them to your liking or develop your own.
You posted in a forum where we all have a right to comment, or not comment, and it seemed that you were complaining about how strong Maurice makes his profiles.
Now everything is working fine! I had to delete these two xml files. only with updating on 2.01.35 it crashed again, but after deleting the files it is working now!
There is an issue with Fanalab and motion platforms.
Kartkraft uses UDP port 5000, and Fanalabs hogs this port to receive telemetry. That is also the port some motion systems use for motion, so Fanalabs effectively hinders the use of motion unless you exit Fanalab.
I think that you are misunderstanding as there is not an issue with Fanalab and motion platforms...I use Fanalab and my motion platform daily. The issue is port conflicts and is not unusual and is why we are able to specify and change port assignments. I don't know about that particular game that you are talking about but many games/sims also have the ability to forward UDP data to additional ports
so, you are the forum police or something? seems to me you should have better things to do but just so it doesn't stop you from sleeping, I was saying that he must be strong but you take it however you want. I've been doing this for 15 years and the last thing I need is help or to put up with crap from trolls
I'm in the same exact situation as yours. Glad you spoken my mind. I'm also a GT DD Pro user owner with a few wheels (2 x CS Uni Hub v2, 1 x F 2.5X, CSL P1 v2, and the GT DD SW), all still using the QR1 (3 metal, 2 lite).
Was lurking around the forum since the start of 2024 to see if any "perfect-ish" driver exist for newer than driver version 451. But seems like this doesn't exist for our specific setups. The issues you highlighted are exactly what I have been wanting the fixed for, but are not fixed even after 3 official release version after 451 (i.e. 453 -> 455 -> 457).
So my guess is also wait until these 2 remaining "Menu FFB does not get cancelled correctly issue & Natural friction can start to feel weird after some time of driving issue" get ironed out for GT DD Pro / CSL DD, the most logical option is to stay on the sideline and keep using the driver version 451.
But 451 also has these known issues...😅 so staying on that driver or updating to 457 to be able to use newest Lab versions wouldn't change anything on known issues, both have the same known issues for a CSL DD / GT DD Pro...
Hey guys, I have a silly question that I don't quite understand, can I continue updating Fanalab and profiles without having to update the Fanatec drivers?
I am currently using the 455, can I use this latest Fanalab without any problems? If I have to install the 457, is it also necessary to update the firmware of the base or is just having the latest driver enough?
I am using with my PC the CSL DD + McLaren GT3 V2 wheel. the wheel display doesn't work with F1 24, but it is perfect with the other SIMs. What can it be due to? I am using driver 455 and the latest public version of Fanalab. May an update with 457+ .35 fix this problem or is it a matter of settings? thanks
Hi. Any plans to release profiles for the BMW Hypercar and the Lamborghini SC63 Hypercar in Le Mans Ultimate?. Also seems that fanalab doesn’t automatically detect the cars with the new 2024 liverys, at least this happens with the Porsche 963 in my case. I don’t know with the others.
Not sure if it's just me, but cant get the RevLEDs to work unless I restart FanaLabs and the DD Base after loading into an iRacing match. (CSL DD, CSL Steering Wheel P1 v2, FanaLab V2.01.35, Fanatec Driver 455)
I'd be glad to share more information, just not sure on what I can provide*
Let me start of by saying when I state they "Aren't" working, they turn on but don't operate as should.
I've tried both 455 & 457 drivers with the most recent version of FanaLabs. I've also attempted these steps when setting the DD in Comp Mode. Anytime I load into a iRacing match, every setting is working (recognized - Force Feedback, etc) but RevLEDs. I have disabled in the iRacing settings - the RevLED control like recommended. The only way I've been able to get them working according to my custom settings is to ensure I'm loaded into a iRacing match first, restart FanaLabs & my DD. After doing so, my RevLEDs are working.
If I don't do what I just mentioned as a "solution", the LED's still show, just not all colors and properly to the shifts.
Assetto Corsa had no problem worked whenever I would change colors and RPM %'s.
Hi Fanatec! Will there ever be support in Fanalab for pedals only? Without any wheelbase connected I cant seems to be able to create a profile for a spesific car in iRacing, or difference in braking technique for iRacing/ACC on my Fanatec CSL elite v2... I have to manually change it from the controlpanel and usually dont remember until after the race start which is very anoying...
I use the Simagic Alpha U with a GT Neo as wheelbase and there it automatically recongnize car/game to my button layout, I wish this would be possible in Fanalab for your pedals as standalone aswell... If not I might have to look elsewhere for pedals in the future, and I really like the V2s
Hey Maurice if I want to try your profiles for iRacing with my CS DD 12nm, should I just change the in game Wheel Force setting to 12nm or would you recommend anything other changes?

i do but i was asking him. what business is it of yours?

The last thing you need is help?
Sorry but then you are wrong here in this forum where we are here to help each other.
I will respect your wish to not get help though, so I remain silent.
Okey dokey mate...by the way, I'm 72 and use Maurice's profiles without issue! :)

Hello,
is there any plan when the next update will be available?
Or did the struggle goes on and have an inpact for FanaLab ?

Yes, 455 works with latest Lab.

The latest public version of the Lab doesn't support F1 24. For thag you need this beta version.r

That's all because there simply was no Lab update which could have supported the new cars yet. Should come next week.
I tried with this beta version and now it works! Thank you everybody for you advice

That's just you.
But with so little details it's almost impossible to investigate.
I'd be glad to share more information, just not sure on what I can provide*

Going to post a ticket, sorry for the clutter.

No, it is technically not possible to support USB Pedals only.
@Maurice Böschen
Hey Maurice if I want to try your profiles for iRacing with my CS DD 12nm, should I just change the in game Wheel Force setting to 12nm or would you recommend anything other changes?
When you take the CS DD+ profiles then yes, that's all you would have to do.
is it compatible with CSL DD 5/8 NM?
Not officially as the CSL DD is too weak to work properly with my profiles without manual modification.
