That issue was already fixed half a year ago with driver 462 release.
So update to the newest Firmware included in the latest official driver and the issue should be gone.
Maurice, appreciate your quick response.
I'm using the latest 464 release on my DD+. Could it be that issue fix in 462 is not ported over? I'll try manually down flashing to 462 later today to see if it yields different result.
Is there some sort of wheel base forced default setting option after firmware is applied? I.e clearing any cache in the base? I'm assuming firmware update may do that by default, but want to confirm.
Appreciate any additional advice or trials I can perform. Thanks!

No, it didn't work. I've always used the latest drivers. Right now, 464 is installed. Since 462, I've always plugged in a CSL Elite non lc pedal and checked. There's a deadzone every time. Works fine on CSL Elite and DD1 base. But there is always a deadzone on DD+. I tried it on different DD+ bases. I did not encounter a DD+ base that worked properly.
I noticed an interesting situation. DD+ after working with the CSL v2 pedal, the dead zone disappears when the CSL Elite non lc pedal is installed. But the brake data is flickered. When I turn it off and on again the dead zone comes back.
I just ordered the clubsport dd+ f1 bundle which should be here tomorrow. After reading through most of the comments,I was wondering if the cs dd+ has an issue with the f1 wheel provided on driver 464.(only play on ps5) a lot of people seem to have issues with the Xbox not necessarily the ps5. Just kinda scared to which driver I should use without any hiccups. Not looking for perfect just one that works okay.
if anyone has info that would be reassuring. Thanks

Hi Luis, for what it's worth, I'm using DD+ with Formula F1 V2.5 wheel without any issues PS5. I'm on latest driver and FW on both DD+ and F1 wheel, no issues. Having said that, I also ran DD+ on factory firmware for awhile without any issues either, so unless something isn't working correctly, you can stay on factory FW and see how it goes first.

Yes, firmware update is not required at day1, UNLESS, something is not working as expected. For reference, I bought my DD+ during past holiday, used it with my F1 and McLaren wheels on factory firmware for months. Then I had to update DD+ firmware to fix GT Endurance wheel issues.
If I didn't have GT Endurance wheel issues, I would have been content with keeping factory firmware. I'm sure there are improvements to be gained with the latest firmware, but I try to practice "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" rule...
In short, you should be good either way (keep factory firmware for time being, or install 464 driver firmware)

When is the new driver being released to fix my funky switch issue? Been waiting since I brought the cs dd+ in November...
I am wondering if it’s worth doing a mix of updates… for example 455 base firmware with 464 qr and wheel firmware…
Maurice can you advise at all if this is a good idea or not?
This is my set up and would like to go to the following. I am on Xbox Series X.
ClubSport DD(+) Base: 2.3.0.1 (NEW) do not use this but keep ClubSport DD(+) Base: 2.0.1.4 Keep this
ClubSport DD(+) WQR: 1.1.0.3 use this? Instead of ClubSport DD(+) WQR: 1.0.0.3
464 - CS SW Formula V2.5(X): 1.0.2.0 upgrade to this? From 455 - CS SW Formula V2.5(X): 0.3.5.0
These are the same in 455 and 464
Podium BME: 24
UHX V2: 2
CSL Elite SW McLaren GT3 V2: 47
CSL Elite SW WRC: 4
CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit: 1.8
Maurice is this a stupid thing to try or worth doing?
The only issue I currently have is the funky switch issue on the formula wheel. But when I use all 464 update I have freezing base issues and the wheel base wont show Xbox mode on both CSL wheels
Both will not allow CS SW Formula V2.5(X): 1.0.2.0 to access Xbox mode whether connected to a PC or Xbox. You must run firmware from 455 (0.3.5.0) to access Xbox but your funky switch will not work properly.
Driver 455 - ClubSport DD(+) Base: 2.0.1.4 and ClubSport DD(+) WQR: 1.0.0.3 still remains more stable and operable with all my wheels. Just have the funky switch issue and a BRF that resets to 50 if auto Sen is used.
I have an issue. In the tuning menu, when using advanced mode, the "[INT] Interpolation Filter" does not seem to save after fully powering off the wheel base and restarting. I set the "[INT] Interpolation Filter" to 20 in the control panel to eliminate the grainy feel in some games, and it works in-game immediately.
After fully powering down my PC and wheel base, and then powering back on, the "[INT] Interpolation Filter" setting in the control panel is still at 20, but that grainy feeling returned. To fix this, I must change the "[INT] Interpolation Filter" to something other than 20, and then back to 20 again. After that, the grainy feel goes away until I power everything off.
So I don't think the "[INT] Interpolation Filter" is applying properly after a power off and back on, even though the control panel indicates that the setting is at 20.

See if you have the SEN on auto. That was affecting my BRF in a similar way.
If sen is auto try putting in the actual rotation and see if that helps? Please report back if it does. Helps others.
Also I find in F1 it does a similar thing but with my sen and I have to go into settings ply around come out and it’s fine… that’s even on 455 and 464 but with the DD+ base.
Hopefully someone can help me I just got my dd plus and went to plug it into the computer to adjust setting noticed that it only goes up to 8nm?! I thought It was 15nm after looking online it saids to update firmware and I tried on 455 and 464 I keep getting the message compatibility not with target! Warning cant flash?? I tried everything reinstalled and all won’t let me do anything. Please someone help

I discovered a small fix for this issue.
When the DD+ base is on and the pedal cable is plugged in, it performs the calibration correctly.
The problem occurs when the DD+ is turned on while a non-LC pedal is attached. It is fixed by removing and reattaching the cable. The pedal cable must be removed and reattached again and again every time the DD+ is turned on.

WOW! Thanks Mustafa, your solution worked... sort of. Appreciate your suggestion, thanks.
Fixed = CSL pedal (non LC) brake deadzone issue. Solution = as Mustafa suggested, While DD+ Base is powered-ON, unplug CSL pedal cable from base and re-plug the pedal cable back into DD+ base. Don't know what it actually does, technically, but when CSL pedal is re-plugged into base, CSL brake pedal deadzone is Gone! It works normally.
Small side issue (Warning) = as CSL pedal cable is re-plugged back into the powered-On DD+ base, the steering wheel goes haywire and does full 540-deg counter-clockwise turn very fast (fully rotated). The wheel does not go back to center, 0-deg. Only way I can re-center (0-deg) was to quick disconnect the wheel from the base(still powered on), and reconnect the wheel.
HOWEVER, Warning - after quick reconnecting the wheel, entered a race track, the wheel violently turned back and forth. I suspect it's due to CSL pedal cable being reconnected, quick disconnect of wheel, or combination of both. Anyway, I thought this was dangerous, I am not doing that again. Not safe nor does it look good for the DD+ base longevity.
Hi Maurice, Marcel,
Based on above finding by Mustafa, this looks to be promising in terms of possible fix for CSL pedal deadzone issue with DD+. Would you please help review to see if this is something that can be fixed via next driver release? I understand there might be higher priorities, but it would be awesome if this can be fixed down the road. Not sure if it will help, but I have a support ticket also (support ticket: 2008156011).
Appreciate it if you and Fanatec engineers can take a look. Thanks!

Hi Maurice, Marcel,
Love to get your view on this CSL pedal brake deadzone issue related to DD+ wheelbase. Thanks!!
I posted this in Pedals category, but it does feel related to DD+ driver/SW.
Issue = brake initial deadzone on CSL standard(non-LC) brake, only happens with DD+, but works fine on DD Pro.
