Because you should not take off your hands from the wheel while driving...
Profiles are designed for Maximum FFB Details. Which means possibility of oscillations. You would need to increase NDP, NFR and/or NIN to get no oscillations - but that way you will lose a lot of fine FFB Details.
@Maurice Böschen First off i would like to thank you for all the work you do! Really amazing, I have just 1 request. Would it be possible you make some FFB settings for the Formula cars from AMS2? Really amazing to drive. Anyway would appreciate it! thanks in advance <3
Hi just wanted to say thanks for your hard work on all the profiles, I'm using a DD1, and have recently moved across from playing ACC on the PS5 to the PC, and the FFB feels so much better using your profiles -
I've only had the chance to use the Bentley 2018, but am very much looking forward to trying many more :)
it boggles my mind by the way how you came up with these settings, tried everything from linear to peak and hours of tweaking but nowhere near these settings. I wonder if ex dd1 users still moved to Simicube after trying these settings, these settings should be used by default.
The settings do not have to match, they are completely unrelated and two different things.
The one in iRacing has to be enabled with ANY base which can output 8Nm or higher.
The one in the Fanatec Tuning Menu controls the peak forces. Setting this to Linear would cut 5Nm from the Base so holding and Peak forces are the same so you dont experience any high peaks which the motor can not sustain for a longer time. I see no reason in this and set it to peak. I want the most heavy peaks I can get, I dont care about a spike being too harsh for a short time.
@ Maurice Böschen your profiles are a fantastic resource so big thanks for your efforts.
Quick question if i may to you or any of the experts , im running the GT DD PRO [basically a 5nm CSL DD] at the moment do i need to change anything within the profiles since im not running 8nm?
The profiles are absolutely not meant to be used with a lower end Belt or Direct Drive. It's only meant to be used with a DD2 or with a bit calculation also with a DD1.
For All other bases the profiles can be used for LEDs but not for the Tuning Menu / FFB as those bases ALWAYS should run at FFB set to 100 anyway.
I got messed up with that video too. Anyways since the new update it is getting very hard to control the Porsche 2018 I before dominated perfectly.. guess still need to practice, i wont resign this profiles and increase dpr till i feel nothing
Thanks so much for your awesome profiles. I just received my DD2 today and after updating FW and applying the recommended settings for iracing (iRacing (PC) - Fanatec Recommended Settings — Fanatec Forum) jumped into the Porsche Cup 992 at Mid Ohio (because that's what I was racing last week). Initially I was very disappointed: the FFB felt very notchy (REALLY notchy) and I was getting some pretty annoying oscillations in certain situations (like quick oversteer moments). I was very disappointed because the wheel felt worse than my old CSW v2, to be honest.
Anyway I did some research and found your profiles, applied the one for the 992 cup car, and it's totally transformed the wheel. The biggest difference compared to the old CSW v2 is how quickly it can countersteer into a slide. I finally understand what people are talking about when they say their DD wheels "catch themselves" when the car starts to slide.
Anyway, thanks very much. I appreciate the work you put into those profiles. If it wasn't for your profile it's very likely I would have spent hours trying different things, or just contacted Fanatec support and complained there was something wrong with my wheel.
Hi Maurice , what are your in game settings for f12021 in regards to profile you have created. I have dd1 and how would I adjust those whne compared with your dd2 settings.

@Maurice Böschen
Hi i tried your newest settings with acc and dd1. The DPR is at 50% and with the game settings as you suggested, it oscillates hard. Why is that?
Because you should not take off your hands from the wheel while driving...

Ok. Thanks. good info for me atleast. Very mixed up info from Aris aswell.
Hey Maurice,
awesome Profiles!
Just got 1 Question just for my understanding.
Why do you put DPR on 50% and SPR on 0% in ACC? Wont that delete these Effects?
Greets
SPR is not used by ACC at all.
DPR 100 is just too much imo.
Ah didnt know the SPR isnt used.
Thanks!
Keep up your really good work! :)

Would be great if Maurice could do more profiles for the AMS2 cars. I dont believe anyone else is doing them and it is beyond my capability.
Exactly this is how I feel too, the man delivers amazing work. And I can only wait to try out his magic settings for the Single seater cars in AMS2!!

Great profiles! Is there a reason that in Iracing linearity is on and in Fanalabs Peak Force is enabled? I thougt these settings should match?

Increasing the FFB on the wheel? or the force in the black box in iracing while driving?
Nobody?

always and only on the wheel.
Hello, do you have csw 2.5 profiles for Iracing?

P.S
Do you use Hi peak setting
Thanks in advance
Files are no longer available. Any chance of getting the latest one for ACC on the DD2?
Thanks a lot!
The most updated profiles are in this post on page 18 of the thread:

Earlier posts in this thread mentioned converting the profiles for North American users. Does this have to be done with these newer ones? If so, how?
Hi Guys,
For the conversion if we take the honda civic,
For the DD2 the values are: FF 65 - Max Force 60 - Wheel Force 16Nm
What will be the conversion values for DD1?
FF 65 x 1.25 = 81.25?
Max Force 60 x 1.25 = 75Nm? gold 60 / 1.25 = 48Nm?
16 x 1.25 = 20Nm? gold 16 / 1.25 = 13Nm?
Thank you for giving me the right conversion friends ;)
Only change the FFB setting in the tuning Menu! Rest can stay as is, so for the Civic example it would be just a change to the FFB from 65 to 81.
Ah ok , thanks mate ;)
Hi Maurice
About this post and the "profile name". "iRacing Honda Civic....60 | 16 nm" ? 60 and 16 values for iRacing and 65 in Fanalab?.
I think that in previous profiles the FFB number coincided. Or I'm wrong?
Thanks!!!
