Have you tried a complete uninstall and re-install of FanaLab?
Also, you can try to delete the XML Folder in Local AppData. After a restart of Fanalab the XML files will be copied again. Its assumed that there is a fault file in the xml file somewhere which block CDALP from working...
That's normal. Recommended profile, if set as game favorite profile, only loads on game start and then never again. So if you load a car which does not have a profile bound to it then the last used profile will stay active until you manually load something else or you load a car which has a profile bound to it.
Actually, not "some" but everyone else but not for you and Alexander...😅
I have no idea why it's not working for you even after a complete delete of the whole xml folder in Local AppData. Something on your Windows seems to Block access to the files with 1.99.05 for some strange reason...
I love Love LOVE the new feature with the per-gear rev lights. It seems like a small thing, but it makes me so happy to be able to turn the rev LEDs back on for those cars in iRacing!
A huge thanks to the team at Fanatec who works on Fanalab. :-)
And another huge thanks to Maurice - setting up the LEDs in your profiles must have been around 6x as much work as the old profiles, and I just wanted to say I really appreciate you doing this!
why - as I said, I use Fanalab to modify on the go, it seems self evident a quick save button would make it easier if it was on the tuning page - strange that this piece of software is unable to implement such a basic function?
I dont change settings on my wheel - it is fiddly, and takes longer than using the software - isnt that why the software was made after all?.
I do not need to alt tab anything, it runs on a 4th screen. So i will just ask again, please add a quicksave button on the tuning page!
199.5 does not save correctly for me anyway - it is resorting to a combination of the default settings when i reload a profile, it does not save or retain the changes I have made.
I've added this feature idea and we might consider to add it at some point.
Regarding the issue you are having with settings not saving/loading correctly, would the profile preview overview already show incorrect settings after saving or would they be shown correctly but when loading the loaded settings would not be in line with the preview?
I run the installer and it says it's already installed. I checked using the Power Shell (Get-ItemPropertyValue -LiteralPath 'HKLM:SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full' -Name Release) -ge 533325 which returns True.
Also check the registry here: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full
Thanks for the additional info, after some further investigation we have a version with a potential fix, please give it a try and let us know if it now works without crashing.
Thx Marcel. I installed 1.99.05 directly over 1.69.7 and it's working. It didn't work when installed on a clean system. I downgraded to 1.69.7, everything was working so I decided to give 1.99xx another go and installed it without uninstalling 1.69.7.
I tried to let you know but when I posted it I got a message saying "my post needs to be approved by moderators". Turned out it was never approved and just vanished.
cant believe ive missed this out for almost 3 years..so good to have all the games in one app and make the profiles changing just by opening the games..but i have 1 question is there any way to backup everything.. when i say everything i mean literally everything to profiles, backgrounds etc !? cuz i have a couple custom games added on my app too and i would like to save everything together and not only the profiles and have to redo everything over again in the future
You mean the priorities? You cant manually switch between them as they are event based, meaning they show data when the event gets triggered (so when Fuel or position changes for example).
PS: this is a thread about FanaLab 1.95.00. You use FanaLab 1.69.7, so a quite old version.

I did it but no change. As you can see Fanalab didn't even switch over to ACC profile from rF2.
Not sure if this is related but on the MAIN tab it says Data Send Interval 15ms, but on all other tabs this box is blank.
Also one screenshot showing Live Telemetry data
Attached log data.
FLControl.log is full of errors like this:
2023/8/24[21:47:36:764] [34016][21848] PCXmlFileGameConfig::PrivateFillGameAttributesList | Node List is Empty!
2023/8/24[21:47:36:764] [34016][21848] PCXmlFileGameConfig::PCXmlFileGameConfig | PrivateFillGameAttributesList() Failed!
Thx.

This was a clean installation of drivers and fanalab after I upgraded my PC.
I deleted everything from \AppData\Local\Fanatec\. Fanalab still won't switch profiles, even if I set one of them as default.
edit: I downgraded to 1.69.7 and auto-switching profiles works perfectly fine.
Game: Assetto Corsa
When I load for the first time a car not bounded the "Recommended FFB Settings" profile is loaded.
If I switch to a car with a bounded profile (eg: BMW M235i Racing), the correct bouded profile is loaded.
But if afterwards I switch to a not bounded car, the "Recommended FFB Settings" is not loaded and the previous bounded profile is loaded again.
That's normal. Recommended profile, if set as game favorite profile, only loads on game start and then never again. So if you load a car which does not have a profile bound to it then the last used profile will stay active until you manually load something else or you load a car which has a profile bound to it.
OK, I thought it was supposed to act like a "default" setting
Are you on 1.99.05? It's strange how autoload works for some users but not for me and Alexander.

Hello,
I'm having crashes on version 1.99.05 which seems to be the reason for one of the update fixes. I have the CSW 2.5.
Fanatec CSW 2.5 + V3 Pedal and F1 V2 wheel. Wheel base Firmware: 692, Wheel base motor firmware: 22 and Steering Wheel firmware 46.
PC Driver 451.
It happens when the wheel is OFF. The app crashes and has to be re-started. I don't think it has happened while running the wheel but I'm not sure.
Please see the answer above
It just happens.
Fanalab logs and WIndows event details in zip file
Thank you
hi to all,
where I can find profiles of the cars from last season.. Porsche 992 RSR new ...
please for help

With wheel OFF you mean the base is turned off right an not just that the wheel is removed from the base?
Are the V3 pedals connected to the base via RJ12 or to PC via USB?
Hello,
If i use the last "driver 451", what is the fanalab version i need to use ?
The Fanalab version 1.99.05 is Beta ? What is the non beta Fanalab for the driver 451 ?
Thanks
1.99.05 is the recommended one but 1.69.7 will work as well.

Yes, the wheel is turn off. The pedals are connected to the wheelbase. Thank you
The wheel is connected to the wheelbase and the wheelbase is turn off. Sorry for the confusion

I've sent you a PM with a special version for your issue.
I've added this feature idea and we might consider to add it at some point.

We think we know the rout cause now and it seems to be an oudated .NET version on your end being 4.03 instead of the required 4.8.
Please download the latest .NET version from this link and install it: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/net48
We will see if we can implement an automatic check/installation of this in the future.

Also check the registry here: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full
which verifies the version 533325 is installed.
Any other suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you

This version isn't an installer yet, you need to export and overwrite the files of the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Fanatec\FanaLab\Control

Just go to C:\Users\"your_user_name"\AppData\Local\Fanatec, and backup the folder !
can anyone tell me how i switch between the 3 LED tabs ingame?
Which 3 LED Tabs?
