Hi guys. I have a CSL DD with a McLaren steering wheel. Updated everything and save and load the right setting in Fanalab for F1 2022. I want no speed on my display, but just the gear constantly (and other things). I disable the speed, but still speed is always showing. Do I something wrong?
You most likely did not clicked the two green buttons in the game profile Tab in Fanalab to Enable Telemetry and Enable Fanalab support to disable native support. Therefore the native Display is interfering with what you have set in FanaLab.
I'm not able to install FanaLab 1.65 on my PC (Windows 11). I have installed the latest PC-Driver 443 and FanaLab 1.64.5.
When I wanna install the FanaLab 1.65, i get a notice, that there is an other version installed and then nothing happend. So, do I have to deinstall the other version or is there an other problem?
Your issue is because the UDP Broadcast option (in your language Mode Diffusion UDP) is activated. That has to be deactivated to get the Telemetry working properly for FanaLab use.
I've just tried with this option disabled and it worked. I can't believe I did not try to disable it before (I think I changed all the options except this one).
Thanks Maurice for your quick answer. But, yes I did. And on the right sight you will see "Speed disconnect" and "Gear Constantly". But still speed is showing on display. I will try again today. I let you know with a picture.
Unfortunately. Got all the settings. The display only shows the gear when I am not driving. As soon as I drive, the speed is on the display (even and that one is not connected)
I am so sorry. You were totally right. It was the in game setting. I didn't know we have to switch off "Fanatec Led" and other things. I switch everything off besides UDP. Everything works perfect now. Thanks again.
Using Fanalab 1.65 and I have noticed that while in the Tuning Menu - Advanced Device Setup, the lower section of the screen including the ACP, CBP and BRF buttons and tuning bars are flickering randomly. They seem to work ok but the flickering is very distracting.
Using Fanalab 1.65 with 443 driver and V3 pedals v1.35 and I've noticed that while in the Fanalab Tuning Menu - Advanced Device Setup, the lower section of the screen including the ACP, CBP and BRF buttons and tuning bars are flickering randomly. They seem to work ok but the flickering is very distracting. All is ok in the driver UI screen..only flickers while using Fanalab.
You need to press the two green buttons in the game profile Tab in Fanalab to Enable Telemetry and Enable Fanalab support and then dont adjust anything in the Telemetry settings!
You have the Fanatec LED option set to ON which enables the native LED support directly from the game which obviously interferes with FanaLab and you have set the UDP Broadcast mode also to ON which then blocks all Telemetry data from the game to FanaLab so FanaLab cant do it's magic at all. This would have been both set to OFF when you would have clicked the two buttons ;) Maybe you pressed the two green buttons and then afterwards adjusted the Telemetry settings on your own?!
So easy fix, set the Fanatec LED and the UDP Broadcast options to OFF and then everything will work as its setup in FanaLab. Or an even easier fix: click the two green buttons (again) ;)
@maurice Hi Maurice, could you help with this issue? Everything controlled twice, udp port same in f1 22 and Fanalab, broadcast off, led off, laso turned on the two green buttons, reinstalled Fanalab to older versions, nothing helped. Fanalab still says: Telemetry is uninitialized, Data send interval 0, even when I change the port or Hz in game settings :(
Telemetry uninitialized is normal for F1 Games as F1 Games stop communication when you alt+tab out of the game. Once in game it works and the Text wouldnt be shown but that's when you are in the game so you cant see...
When everything works then dont worry about the uninitialized Text, it's fine.
Hello Maurice, I'm trying to use your profiles for F1 22 but my "AUTO" button is missing on Fanalab 1.65. So I am not able to tune my settings accordingly without having to completely change them over to Profile 2. So AUTO is acting as Profile 1, Profile 1 as Profile 2, etc. Picture for context.
Hello, I can't run the LEDs with telemetry either. Steering wheel DD1 Ps4 I attach photos, two green buttons ok F1 2022 origin; with exe placed in place and created that telemetry options in the right game. Help, thank you.

Yes you have to uninstall the old version.
Hello,
I have a CSL DD with Formula v2.5 wheel and V3 pedals and I'm also having issues with Fanalab and F122.
I can't get the custom leds and the pedal vibration to work.
I am on version 1.65 of Fanalab and the drivers are the 443 ones (as you can see on the screenshot).
My pedals are connected with RJ45 to the base.
I took some screenshots of my settings :
- Fanalab game profile (I clicked on the 2 green buttons)
- In game telemetry (I've tried to play with some settings like udp format or frequency but I can't figure out to make this work).
Am I doing anything wrong ?
Thank you for your help.

A picture of the in game telemetry settings and from the FanaLab Game Profile Tab Overview would indeed help.
Unfortunately. Got all the settings. The display only shows the gear when I am not driving. As soon as I drive, the speed is on the display (even and that one is not connected)
As requested yesterday, please also post a picture of the in game telemetry settings as well. Most likely the issue is in there.

What is a AUTO button?
I think you mean AUTO Setup?
Which Driver and Firmware you have installed? Everything is recognized properly in the Driver UI?
Looks like your Firmware is not up-to-date and therefore incompatible with this FanaLab Version.
Thank you very much for this. Feel a bit stupid now.
Sorry for all the questions @maurice. I just don't get it. So I've done all this and I still don't have it. Please see below.
hello I have installed fanalab v1.65 but f1 22 does not detect me. purchased from origin
Users with Origin / EA Play need to use the "Launch game via manually selected executable" feature.
yes I tried. i set the exe file but it doesn't work
Because you added a Custom Game.
You need to set the exe file for the EXISTING F1 22 preset, you must NOT add a new custom game! Custom Games dont support Telemetry.
ah ok I understand. try again, thanks
