Hey Maurice. Thank you for your great new profiles for LMU :)
I just rode LMGT3 for the first time and the FFB feels significantly stronger/rougher. Is that normal?
THX and Merry Christmas!
Yeah the LMGT3 cars feel much rougher. As I previously said, I am not happy with how my FFB settings feel on them but I cant tune them any better as the groundwork to work with (the games FFB) is not my cup of tea so no matter what I try, I just cant them to feel "good"...
Good day! Please help me understand how to solve the problem:
I have a BMW GT3 M4 steering wheel - and I can't turn off the constantly running buttons on the steering wheel, they are tied to the speed - I've tried everything - but I just want them to light up and not move)
I've turned off everything I can .... but the result is always the same as soon as I press the gas everything starts running again - then I press the button in the default fanlab - everything lights up and starts all over again ... thanks! - I'm using version 2.01.28 and driver 456.

You should update to the latest Lab Version 2.01.58 which this thread is all about.
But I dont understand your issue anyway. You say you want the Button LEDs to light up constantly in one color but you show a picture of the Display settings and not the Button LED settings.
Sounds like you have set Button LED RPM mode to on. Try to disable that.

Thats quite a wrap up for this year I would say, a lot of new stuff for you to enjoy over the coming christmas days! Speaking about christmas, I want to wish everyone relaxing holidays and a good transition into the new year already!
Note: The latest FanaLab V2.01.58 added a lot of new Telemetry stuff which converted the profiles to support this new features, which means this profile pack is ONLY compatible with this newest FanaLab V2.01.58 version or newer and is incompatible with any older FanaLab version.
fanalab keeps crashing when I launch AMS2 or try and click on AMS2 on the game profile page, all other games (iracing, ac, acc, f123) seem to work fine as usual.

Please always upload Windows Event Log Files from the crash, otherwise it is literally impossible to investigate why the crash happens.
Sounds like you used my previous profile pack with a broken ProfileCarsList_AMS2.xml file which is fixed in my latest profile pack.
A first start and absolutely wild guess without any Logs is to delete the xml folder in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Fanatec\FanaLab and also uninstall the Lab again and then install it again with the option checked to reset the Lab to default settings during the install.

Thanks Maurice, I downloaded your new packs and deleted the old xml's now everrything is working fine again.
Also would like to thank you for the hard work in these packs it improves my sim experience immeasurably and tell everyone who is new into the fanatec eco system what a game changer they are!

What I suggest using the same wheel as you and not the Formula used for theses profile, is to uncheck "LED" and "ITM" before loading the profile so it will not screw your LED and Displays settings if you already work on that.
Then you could just click on save (with a new name, or with the same) to make a save from Maurice work but with your own wheel + led + Display

Someone on page 1 suggested ticking the "reset settings" check box when installing. That seems to have solved it for me. But I only played for a day after doing it.

I don't know why but when i play at evry games fanalab don't recognize the game and i must load manually the car ffb profile. When i do this fanalab say wrong steering and base profile, but i have a csl dd 8nm, and in tuning menù setting the raccomanded settings.

you have a different setup than Maurice; you need to load the profile (dont worry about the wrong message) you want to use and save them (adjust the FFB, SHO and BRF to your like before). If you follow the txt for the xml part, you will have auto load enabled for those cars and you will be able to use automatically the different profiles you have load and save before. Could be a long process if you use several cars in a game, but worth it to have the good settings when you switch car.

Thanks, i've following the instructions for the xml file, but when i play acc or lmu or automobilista i must manually select the game or the car, fanalab don't switch automatically. I have the little car icons near every cars for each game.

ITM on Porsche Steering wheel always goes to incorrect ITM page. Like I have DD2 and only want to show SPEED on the OLED Display and want to show PAGE 1 on the Porsche steering wheels OLED display but it shows there also the Speed which is not right…
It ONLY WORKS right if I close the ITM function and open it again… But that’s a real hassle to do everytime because use iRacing in fullscreen mode so Always Alt Tabbing etc real hassle…
It definitely a BUG…
For the rest like: Auto choosing the right Sim, auto the right profiles etc are all OK, only this problem.

I dont understand your problem.
Speed is intentionally shown on EVERY ITM page in the middle together with the gear. There is no ITM page where Speed is not available so that Speed is shown is not a Bug but totally correct.

NO I don’t mean that speed isn’t shown. I mean that I use LEGACY page for DD2 oled display(which I set to only show speed and nothing else) and PAGE 1 for the PORSCHE OLED with speed, gear, laptime etc… BUT the Porsche Oled also shows the Legacy page with only the speed instead of PAGE 1 what I have selected…

just tested and I dont have such an issue at all when I change the pages through the wheel directly with the respective button combination. I can use the Legacy page on the P DD and ITM page 1 on the BME just fine.

You are using my old profiles where I had an error in the ProfileCarsList_AMS2.xml file which lead to the Lab crashing the moment you click on AMS2 in the Lab.
This is fixed with my latest profile pack, just copy/paste that new xml file into your local AppData folder as explained in the README files and the Lab wont crash anymore for you.
Alternatively, delete that file in AppData and bind the cars manually on your own to the profiles.

I have a problem with AUTO LOAD like it’s not working and couldn’t find the cause.
iRacing is the game. For example I drive Mercedes AMG GT3 with the right profile and then I change to BMW M8 GTE but instead auto changing to M8 profile it stays on AMG profile which isn’t right obviously….
Am I doing somerhing wrong or what…? Any advice is highly appreciated because always manually loading a profile is such a hassle cause I change cars frequently…

Have you bound the car to the profile? Please post a picture of the Game Profile Tab with the M8 profile selected and Cars List opened to see if the car is bound to the profile and also share your ProfileCarsList_iRacing.xml file from the C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Fanatec\FanaLab folder.

Your CarsList is empty. Seems like you copy-pasted wrong from my ProfileCarsList to the regular CarsList which of course cant work.
You need to delete the xml folder in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Fanatec\FanaLab and then start the Lab again so it resets the regular CarsList. Afterwards please do not copy-paste my xml files but bind the cars to the profiles manually on your own.

Thx for the Info and however.. your Profiles are MEGA (!!!) and I now know that I'm not the only one who finds the FFB of the LMGT3s too strong/rough
Good day! Please help me understand how to solve the problem:
I have a BMW GT3 M4 steering wheel - and I can't turn off the constantly running buttons on the steering wheel, they are tied to the speed - I've tried everything - but I just want them to light up and not move)

Thanks for the dedication as always Maurice, most appreacited!
Thank you Maurice! Merry Christmas to you!
Thank you so much for your new profiles and for your work Maurice! I wish you and all your loved ones a happy holiday season!! :)

Hey Maurice, just wanted to say thanks as your profiles are perfect for my brand new CS DD+,
Just wondering, how did you get the "Max Force" for each iRacing car?
I noticed that the AUTO function was working perfectly with my CSL DD, but for the stronger CS DD+ is just useless, your tweaks are on point sir.
First...a big thanks Maurice...awesome work. In every instruction file i see the convertion ffb value for dd1, but it's the same for the csl dd 8nm?
