GT DD EXTREME Steering wheel availability

Hi,
Just saw the Gran Turismo World Finals "Pro-AM Race" where the second prize was a GT DD Extreme steering wheel only (not the bundle).
As someone who bought already a CS DD+ base I really would have the option to purchase this steering wheel only and it seems this could be possible with a "little good will"..!
Do you think this will be possible in the future or it's completely out of the equation?
If not possible, how do you respond to people that have bought the CS DD+ base just before the GT DD Extreme bundle was released?

There are no plans to sell the wheel standalone, no.
You can try to find the wheel on ebay or so.

Is this how you handle a subject that in my eyes is important for the playstation community in the Fanatec realm: "Go look for it on ebay or so"?
Well, there is a topic on Reddit that can show you that many people are unhappy with this situation:"https://www.reddit.com/r/Fanatec/comments/1amsqz1/new_gran_turismo_extreme_steering_wheel_wont_be/" and the "ebay" solution isn't one.
Anyway we all know that when a (used) Extreme Wheel will show up on ebay or other platfoms, it will be probably because a new one will appear.
I would like to know why the weel coudn't be sold by itself?
I personnaly think there's a market for it now, but maybe i'm wrong...
The wheel can not be sold standalone due to licensing reasons with Polyphony Digital and Sony.
