BMW M4 GT3 LED lights go out

I posted that my button lights went out on the BMW M4 GT3 wheel when I start Fanalab in the Fanalab section and someone said that it's a firmware issue and another said it only happens with the CS DD and DD+. Well, if it's a firmware issue then why isn't it fixed? The wheel has been out for 2 years and the CS DD and DD+ for a year. I've tried taking the wheel off and putting it back on after starting Fanalab and the lights still go out.

Here's my post that hopefully someone at Fanatec will see and do something about it:

If anyone at Fanatec reads these posts I want them to know that the BMW M4 GT3 wheel doesn't work properly with a DD or DD+. A member on Facebook asked if there were any problems with the wheel and the answer is YES, there is. I'm going to be the squeeky wheel and hopefully get something going to fix this problem.

Here was my response to him:

If you have a DD or DD+ and use Fanalab, don't get it. There's a bug in the firmware when you start Fanalab 3 lights go out. The only way to get them back on is to go into Fanalab/LED/click on a button on the screen/click on RevLED/RPM. Then it'll work until you close Fanalab. You can also go into the Fanatec Control Panel and choose "default color." Then there are ways to make the buttons show the flag colors and Rev lights, and that's unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Then there's the color lights themselves. When you pick a color sometimes the button is the color you choose, othertimes it's a completely different color. For example, if I pick light blue, sometimes it's white. If I pick yellow, sometimes it's blue, sometimes it's some other color. If I choose pink, sometimes I get that. I just put all the buttons back to default color and leave it there. Sometimes the light just goes black. For a 2 year old premium product Fanatec obviously didn't care about the wheel. All these problems should have been addressed and fixed with the DD and DD+. That said, the wheel itself is the most comfortable wheel I own. The F1 v2.5 wheel I own is narrow in such a way my shoulder starts hurting. I've had no pain with this wheel whatsoever.

As you can see in the photo 3 buttons aren't lit. That's what happened when I started Fanalab.
