  • I have exact same issue, only does it very rarely, once in 10-20 turn on cycles maybe.

I suspect that it has something to do with the Fanatec driver v452 - v455 Firmware for Base, Motor and WQR upgrade, as I had a few tries to get the WQR update to take at the time and this error only started after these updates, was running v451 for ages with no sign of this error.

    • Podium DD1 / DD2 Base               : 3.0.4.3 (NEW)

    • Podium DD1 / DD2 Motor            : 3.0.0.2

    • Podium DD1 / DD2 WQR               : 7 (NEW)

    • CS SW Formula V2(X), V2.5(X)       : 47 (NEW)

Currently running Fanatec Driver v463 with the same error still happening:

    • Podium DD1 / DD2 Base               : 3.1.0.7 (NEW)

    • Podium DD1 / DD2 Motor            : 3.0.0.2

    • Podium DD1 / DD2 WQR               : 7 (QR2)

    • CS SW Formula V2(X), V2.5(X)       : 47 (QR2)

I also have issues with Fanalab 2.x.x.54 locking up and / or completely shutting down whilst racing in Assetto Corsa (Original) resulting in the loss of my custom RPM LED's (F1 Wheel rim shows stuck static LED's , GEAR number or Speed most likely due to loss of Telemetry data).

I have no solutions either unfortunately.

  • That's normal.

Has nothing to do with FanaLab. It is the WQR Module of the Base which sometimes does not properly boot when the base starts. So this error message then comes up every 20 to 50th boot or so. Unlikely to ever get fixed at this point, you just have to live with it..

How can it ruin full race when it only happens oocasionally when you start the base and then can get fixed by just restarting the base?!

    Hello i have a question,

when I start my wheelbase (DD1) my steering wheel is never in the center anymore,

I have to recalibrate it every time. even to activate my high torque and my steering wheel turns a quarter turn at 90°,

it is supposedly only at 78°. I read many issues with the software, hopefully this is also part of this problem.

Can this be remedied at this time?

    Kind regards, Jeremy
