No, its not. Its full of FIRMWARE issues, not DRIVER issues. And those firmware issues basically all affect CS DD only.
In the end P DD users can use both 455 or 457 just fine. Neither is really better or worse than the other for P DD, both are by far not perfect for anything and have (different) issues as a bug-free driver basically does not exist.

20 year old steering wheels didnt had such advanced electronics and firmwares which could make issues, they were pretty much dumb devices compared to todays devices.

well i'm waiting for some good news from clubsport DD/DD+ then maybe one day i buy that as well and start test this fullforce.
but this constant complains about this hardware makes feel like it not happens anytime soon

are those miss shifts already fixed ? that was a first DD1 user complain for that 457.
and over time there was more about those kind messages from other users as well.

Miss-shifts on BMR and Formula V2.5 with new chip (the ones with semantic firmware versioning, so the ones with most recent firmware 1.0.2.0, not the ones with firmware 47) are still under investigation.
Other Miss-shifts of other wheels couldnt get reproduced when the most recent Lab Version is used which has a fix for miss-shifts implemented. No further investigation ongoing for further miss-shift issues atm other than the two aforementioned wheels.

fanatec makes a firmware but china makes a hardware and gets all profit to them self.
