ClubSport Formula V2 Thumb Rotaries Unexpected Activation

I got my ClubSport Formula V2 last week and have been using it for F1 2019.  I have the left and right Thumb Rotaries bound to ERS deployment and brake bias respectively.

Sometimes the ERS deployment will flick between modes when my thumb is just resting on the rotary (not clicking it) and occasionally it changes mode when I'm not touching it at all. As each rotary just appears as two buttons in-game, it seems the switches are activating at the slightest touch/movement.

Is this expected behaviour? Or are the rotary switches on my wheel over sensitive?

    That is normal as the rotaries are on the sensitive side. I keep my thumbs wrapped on the wheel until I need to make any adjustments. There may be tweaks out there that someone has come up with.

    Mine are like that too, and it was noted behavior in the sim racing garage video review as well.
