Table Clamp With Desk Lip

Hi all, I'm ready to commit to a full fanatec setup and I just want to make sure I can use everything when I get it. I want to mount the CSW v2.5 to my desk using the table clamp V2. However as you can see in the picture, my desk has a lip at the front. Will this prevent me from using the table clamp, and if so, what are some possible solutions?

A bit of wood under the desk the same depth as the lip. :-)

This might be the most sensible way, apart from a new desk. Thanks!
