Confused about wheel base

Hello, I am considering buying an F1 wheel for my CSL DD Wheel base but im confused about the mount for the wheel, When looking at the product the end of the wheel that goes on the base is a different mount that would work with my base. Do I need a different wheel base for the wheel or is there something else for it like a mount you can buy or something?

Can I buy this and attach it to my QR1?

Yes you can apply it to you wheelbase, by undoing the clamp on your CSL DD and pulling the QR1 shaft out of the motor, then slipping in then QR2 shaft as show above and re-torquing the clamp to 12-15nm. (QR2 is a much better connection system compared to the sloppy QR1)

The QR2 system is now considered standard, all Fanatec equipment is now shipped with QR2 only and the QR1 wheel side adapters aren't sold anymore by Fanatec.

Optionally, although nor recommended, you could also just purchase a second hand QR1 Wheel Side Adapter (Ebay or new from AliExpress) and fit it to the Steering Wheel instead of the existing QR2 it shipped with.
