Hello
Does anyone have an opinion on this?
I've uploaded a video and photos, but I think the description is quite complete.
I've already got a ticket from Fanatec. I don't know how long it will take them to reply.
I have the following hardware:
Gran Turismo® DD Pro (5 Nm) (GT_DD_RWP_PRO_EU)
CSL pedals (CSL_P)
Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel base (GT_DD_PRO_WB_bulk)
GT Pro steering wheel (GT_SW_PRO)
CSL pedal load cell kit (CSL_P_LCK)
ClubSport SQ V1.5 gearshift (CSS_SQ)
The equipment is only 2 months old and everything has worked fine. The firmware updates were done when I received the package, and they are still up to date.
In the last month, the following behaviour has happened 3 or 4 times intermittently. It happened while i was playing and also when i turned the system on.
Now it has become permanent and the steering wheel no longer works:
When I switch on Fanatec with the power button on the base, the steering wheel starts to move and does the usual routine. After 2 or 3 seconds, the Mode LED starts flashing in a single random colour, or in rainbow colours, and the steering wheel doesn't work.
The Fanatec PC software (PC Mode) only recognises the Fanatec hardware if the steering wheel is not installed. When I install the wheel, the connection is lost and i get the following message: No Fanatec device found
At no time do the steering wheel LEDs light up.
The pins on the GT Steering Wheel Pro are as good as new. They are not bent or obviously damaged.
All the hardware has been checked and tightened, including the alignment of the USB shaft clamp on the base.
It behaves the same whether it's connected to the PS5 or a PC, or neither.
I've tried turning it on and off, tryed factory reset and new drivers, but when i install the steering wheel, the behaviour is the same and lost connection.
(I don't have another steering wheel to test.)
I have checked all that i can, with the Fanatec AI help, and related forums and videos.
I need help on this. After all, it's a completely new device.
