Podium Hub and Endurance Buttons Randomly Stop Working During Race

Has anyone else had this issue? My new (less than a month old) ClubSport DD with Podium Hub, Shifters and Endurance button module just randomly stops working in iRacing. The pedals still work as does the steering, but no force feedback, shifting or buttons work. This happens at a shift point and all the lights on the button module stay lit. It has happened 3 times since I got the system.
Is there a way to reset or restart the steering wheel? If you go into the Fanatec app it shows the button module greyed out and disconnected. I tried turning the wheel base off and back on, as the wheel base comes back on it floors the throttle and damages the engine. So don't try that, at least not during an online race.
So far the only thing that seems to reset the system is to get out of the iRacing lobby, turn the wheel base off and back on, then get back into the lobby.
I have submitted a support ticket, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Copying my post from another thread. Try giving this a shot:
If you aren’t already, I recommend downgrading your firmware to the version 455 driver. There is a lot of talk about this and that is ultimately what fixed things for me (and many others). Just find the v455 thread in the firmware section and somewhere there should be a downgrade discussion as well (I think there is a PDF or guide somewhere).
Fortunately, the CS DD/+ are easier to downgrade than the earlier bases.
I down graded to the 454 driver, we will see if that works. The error is so random and can't duplicate it to test...
The roll back to 454 driver didn't work. The issue reoccurred after about a week of driving. Working with Fanatec to resolve.
