Question,

Can you buy a csl dd with the old quick release ? I have 2.5 and 3 wheels, and was thinking about getting the csl dd . but all 3 wheels have the old quick release and i dont want or need to upgrade the wheels. It would cost too much.

    No. The old QR is officially dead.

    You can only buy the old QR version on used markets but not new anymore fom.the official store.

    Cost too much? You didn't say what 3 wheels you have.

    However you can get exchangeable QR adapters for about $20.00 each on AliExpress for the BMW M3 GT2 v1, Porsche 918 RSR, Formula Black/Carbon, or Universal Hubs V1.

    If you don't want to buy 3 QR2's you can just get one and swap it as needed on the adapters until you can get 2 more. You can get away with using just 4 of the 6 bolts.

    Or you could get the new CSL DD QR2 and get a used QR1 base side on eBay.

    Once you try a QR2, don't think you will ever go back.

    Well that stinks, I have 3 wheels with the old OR and it would cost how much to change all 3 ? Forza GT , WRC and Mclaren v2.

    Ah even less expensive if you have wheels with exchangeable QR's.

    Don't have any of those wheels but think they do.

    I'm sure Fanatec would rather sell you the QR2's, but since your on a budget, check AliExpress for them. You can get metal ones in black, red, blue, green, and gold. If you look around you can find a good deal.

    I bought 9 for mine and they work just as well as the Fanatec.
