Fanatec Podium Hub issue

I have a DD+ Wheelbase wich recognizes my podium hub, but shows firmware version 0. I am not able to update it. Even when I try to do it manually it doesnt even preselect a firmware. The PC also doesnt recognize my Button Module Endurance when using this Podium hub. The button module seems to be starting without issues tho. Is this problem fixable or is the podium hub broken?
I already tried multiple different Fanatec Driver softwares (down to 455 because this is the oldest with DD+ support).
Not one of them let me update the Podium Hub.

One thing that has worked for me is to start the wheelbase without a wheel attached and then attach the wheel after the base is fully loaded and visible in the control panel and fanalab. I sometimes have issues starting up my own DD+ if I have a wheel mounted, but when I detach before booting it seems to work fine.
I’m pretty sure this scenario is mentioned in one of the firmware threads, but it is quite annoying. This doesn’t happen on the DD1 or CSL DD line, but they have an additional hardware/firmware layer than the DD+. Ultimately, I suspect a startup/load order issue, but detaching first is my recommendation.
Are you using any usb extension cables or such? Maybe try a good quality powered usb hub and see if your results are different?
I have exactly the same issue. Out of the blue the steeringwheel is not reconized by the base and mentions firmware on the display. I'm only running GT7 on PS5 with PSVR2 and then it happenend during the game. Initially rebooting the PS5 worked but not anymore. Then hooked the wheel to a PC, downloaded the latest driver/firmware package, but not reconized like in your picture. Disconnecting the steeringwheel it will find the other components but as soon as I plug-in the wheel it does not even reconize the base anymore. The manual recovery did not work as well. I swapped the USBC cable, but same result. I will try the bootloader method (8 seconds on the on/off switch) to force firmware update (although it indicated it was the latest and fine when the wheel was not connected. I will also check the screws within the Podium hub. Pins look fine. It is so weird if it comes with a firmware warning while nothing was changed or altered. I was thinking a hardware issue somewhere...
