Hey Christian, having a "deadzone" on your damper kit before the damping starts can sometimes occur, but it's not typically the intended behavior. A slight deadzone might be present due to the design or wear, but significant or unexpected behavior should be investigated further. First, ensure that the damper kit is correctly installed and calibrated. If you're using it with ClubSport V3 pedals, verify that all firmware and drivers are up to date, as updates can sometimes resolve calibration or functionality issues. Calibration might also help minimize any unintended deadzone by adjusting the settings to match the hardware's current state. If the issue persists, our support team can provide precise guidance tailored to your hardware setup. They may recommend recalibrating or checking for mechanical issues. We recommend contacting support for more detailed troubleshooting steps. They’ll be able to assist with identifying if your issue is normal or if it requires further attention. Best, your Fanatec team.
