New Handbrake mounting on Shifter question

I have my Fanatec shifter on a bit longer shelf than the base of the shifter. Is there any way to mount the handbrake to the shifter so that the bottom of the handbrake is level with the bottom of the shifter so it can rest flat on the little bit of the protruding shelf? I saw the default mounting instructions for mounting the handbrake vertically on the shifter and the handbrake seems to go beyond the bottom of the shifter by like a centimeter. Can it be finessed to line up exactly with the bottom of the shifter? Thanks.

Hey there! We understand your setup needs, and it sounds like you’re looking to adjust the positioning for a better fit. While the handbrake is usually mounted vertically on the shifter, there might be some flexibility depending on the specific mounting accessories you're using. We recommend reaching out to our support team, they’ll be able to guide you with more detailed options to align everything perfectly. Best, your Fanatec team.

  • Did you got any answer from the support? I have the exact same question, I have a PlaySeat Trophy and the shifter is mounted on the official plate's center. I like my handbrake on the right side, I'd upgrade to the new one, but I'm afraid I can't mount it. I'd like it vertically, but it is impossible as I can see on pictures. A slight angle would be fine, but I'm not sure I can mount it.
