Fanatec CSL LC Brakepedal Problem

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my Fanatec CSL Loadcell pedals, specifically with the dead zone of the brake pedal. Whenever I start the wheel, I have to recalibrate the brake pedal or disable the automatic calibration. Oftentimes, I forget to do this and just start driving, and at the first braking point, the brakes only respond after about 50% pedal pressure.

It also doesn’t save my settings. Even after recalibrating, the same problem occurs the next time, no matter what I set. However, once it's properly set, it works without any issues.

I hope you can help me.

Thanks!

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with calibration issues like that. It sounds like the automatic calibration feature might be causing the problem, especially if it resets the brake pedal settings each time you start the wheel. We recommend disabling the automatic calibration and setting the pedal manually to avoid this issue.

As for the settings not saving, this could be related to a software or firmware issue. Make sure your drivers and firmware are up to date, as this can often resolve issues like these. If the problem persists, feel free to reach out to our support team directly for further assistance! Best, your Fanatec team.
