Trak Racer TR8 Pro + Inverted V3 pedals?

Hello guys!

Newbie here, my first post actually. :)

My question is, has anyone here used the Trak Racer TR8 Pro with inverted pedals?

I really want to buy them on the sale! :D

It says on the webpage under Mount Compatibility and under Pedal Deck Compatibility that it's compatible with Clubsport V1/V2/V3 (including Inverted Pedals).

But when I emailed sales asking advice (that's an insane story in itself but I'll save that for another time) he told me that the inverted mount I was asking about didn't fit the TR8 Pro, nothing more.

Not "Sorry you can't use inverted pedals on it" and he didn't offer another mount that would fit either, so I'm very confused, there is another mount but the measurements are the same so that probably won't fit either... And now they are closed for the weekend and the guy who's apparently my only contact there now is totally nonchalant.

Can someone please help me?

Big thanks in advance!

by looking image , it have own frame . so i guess you can use those anywhere, even at toilet setup if user have it in home

  • Really, you don't think it needs an external frame?

The more sturdy aluminium frames by Trak Racer all need it and have 2 options for it. That's if the apathetic seller was correct in that I can't use the frames with the TR8 Pro.

I think it's 90 kgs force you can use on the load cell pedals, that's why I guess it needs to be anchored firmly in place

That's why I preferably need someone with absolute knowledge if it works or not.

  • I can't buy the TR8 Pro and all the extras on a hunch... :(

  • Yes exactly. It needs a frame.

  • I've googled and checked Reddit also but the only Info I've found so far is 1 Reddit post where the guy writes along the line that he recommends Trak Racer TR8 Pro, among other things because you can use the Fanatec inverted pedals.

But it didn't sound as though he had firsthand knowledge.

Maybe he just read it on Track Racers webpage same as I and that might not be accurate if the uninterested seller is correct.

  • you to can mount them to there, if look the some youtube videos that flex is not that big for talk about it. but it have some yes

  • Thank you all for your replies btw, It's very nice of you all to reply!

Hello Allan, ok so do you mean mount them directly on the paddle board without any supporting frame?

Trak Racer TR8 Pro may have own flex as well for the pedal holder so its not like fully solid rig self

  • The V3i base plate is the same size and mounting holes as the V3, so only issue might be possible flex on the TR8 pedal plate from some extra leverage from the higher pedal position. The V3i frame is quite sturdy

  • Thank you both.

Yes I see your point about mounting it without an external frame mount. It might work.

    Tough if it doesn't.

It's just a shame that noone seems to have first hand experience about this.

  • you looked that youtube video? for me it say allot about this rig even for not own that

  • Yeah I've seen it before and had a little look when you sent it as well.

His conclusion is very positive though.

Picking gear is not easy. ;)
