BMW GT2 V1 Funky Switch Encoder Issue on Firmware Versions Above 447

The issue is that the funky switch on the BMW GT2 V1 steering wheel registers more inputs than it should. This problem is definitely software-related, as it works correctly with the base firmware versions associated with the 447 driver. However, when a newer firmware is installed on the base, the issue appears. With the CSW 2.5 on the 447 firmware, the funky switch on the wheel works perfectly, but any newer firmware causes errors. The same issue occurs on the DD2 and CSL DD bases as well.

This is a hardware issue on some very few wheel units which came up with a firmware change that fixed the issue of skipped Encoder Inputs. There is nothing you can do other than staying on old firmware forever when you want to use this Legacy wheel.
Thank you for the response, though I’m not happy with it. I really don’t want to buy a V2 wheel for this…
But I’ll just have to come to terms with it…
Thanks.
The old Legacy wheels unfortunately do not have their own wheel Firmware and it is not possible to fix this via the Base Firmware for the few affected wheel units so there is nothing we can do. So unfortunately you will have to stay on the old firmware forever if you want to use the Legacy V1 wheel or at some point you upgrade to newer wheels which have their own firmware.
I understand everything, I didn't know that the old legacy steering wheels don't have a separate firmware, thanks for the info.
