BMW GT2 Rim Funky Switch Skips

I have 2 BMW M3 GT2 Rims and a McLaren GT3 Rim

On both of the GT2 rims, when rotating the funky switch clockwise or counter clockwise on click, it registers a random number of clicks. The McLaren funky switch rotation always registers 1 click correctly.

I have them on a DD2 base running the latest 455 driver package.

Navigating through the DD2 onboard LED menu, the funky switch always registers 1 click correctly

Testing in the Fanatec Control Panel shows it registering a random number of clicks, so this seems to be a driver issue?
