whatever happens, not happen with overnight.

  • The biggest problem I have with Corsair right now, is that horrible font on the letter. ;-)

  • I am very happy that Fanatec is saved and I am also happy about the great employees who have always done their best. I wish everyone the best of luck for the future. I will continue to buy Fanatec products. I am confident that Corsair will do their best to keep Fanatec a great brand.

What does this mean for Customer ...?

ADAC Simracing expo is coming and i will test other DD wheelbases. I dont give, after this takeover, corsair my money.

It was not perfect before, we had many trouble on BF / new releases, but nothing of this is like the .... corsair takeover!

I hope the best for all fanatec workers.

better hardware not always give the better results, and usually at there comes the price what company's offer, i personally just not see point for buy example the Simcube

DD are already kind off high end stuff

Rennsport with CSL DD 8nm, not try yet how much i can improve with DD2. but sometimes better is not always what you actually need

  • when will we see the Corsair effect in fanatec? when will we see effective and intuitive software? when will Corsair solve the problems of disconnection of the cls dd caused by a slippery and defective shaft? it will be a good job to do .... if it succeeds then yes fanatec you will have that security for a sale above simcube moza Logitech trustmaster. thanks

  • if some of they workers not even know that Clubsport DD++ not have QR1,

then it could be that some off they hardware designer not even know that this issue exist in CSL DD

  • Thomas Jackermeier, is he still on game or maby he will create new brand and start doing simracing stuff 🤔

good luck for him. he already disappoint the shareholders

you to need kind off allot money if you sell products to masses and same time make profit

if you make products for allot people then those stuff what are inside hardware cost allot.

and that means, you to may need have also shareholders who help you

We who have already purchased the QR 1? How do we have to spend more?

  • Happy to see things moving in the right direction!

Me as client/consumer am eager to see what wonderful future this brings to all of us, the people that stood by Fanatec during the storm!

Let's have a fantastic future together!

i have 20 year old steering wheel what still works, so why i buy the Fanatec first place? because get better stuff, same goes for qr2

if you not want qr2 then no one force you to buy that and be happy with that what you have.

Congratulations with the purchase and thanks for saving Fanatec. I hope you get it up and running again and i wish you a succesful journey. I suggest keeping the prices as low as possible if you want us to keep buying Fanatec stuff. An example is the 8nm boostkit. Many chooses the chinese versions for ~half the price. I prefer original stuff, but of course price has an impact and maybe there's room for adjustments in the wide range of Fanatec products. I just ordered an SQ shifter btw after reading about Corsairs takeover :)

    Suggestions for future products:

    Backlight buttons

    Inbuilt screen for F1/GT3 wheels

    Shortshaft shifter mod

Truck steering wheel and blinker/wiper arms

Rumble motor addons for all pedal sets

Cool Fanatec sim gloves, shoes, socks and clothing

Complete Paddle upgrade kit for McLaren GT3 wheel

    Best Regards

    Niki Nielsen

yeah, if someone else offers half price for product then users may start look other direction.

even Corsair pc power supplies cost less that this boost kid so there is huge change that people just buy at some other place

My friend I'm glad your equipment works.

Believe me I'm not the only one in this forum who has 1 (RMA) under his belt and still has problems.

    this translates into product unreliability.

if I buy something I would like it to work and if repaired.. even more it should work.

    We're talking about

switching to qr2 but even today if I buy a new steering wheel I have to pay 50 euros for the qr2 lite and even if I wanted to do so I would have to spend another 70 for the basic side qr2.

If Fanatec has understood that the QR1 is defective at this point, in order to eliminate it directly, it should offer the QR2 for free to its customers and insert the QR2 for free directly into new sales.

It would certainly cost them less than all the (RMA) that they will have to resolve due to a faulty part.

Therefore I don't think you have to defend Fantec.

As a customer I give him some advice hoping it can be taken into consideration.

So as to stay in Fanatec instead of moving to the competition.

As I think, I'm sure there are many others.

    Thank you .

QR1 self is not defective, they just want that stuff work also in older hardware like those old

but because this product self is also already Discontinued. then its time to move better stuff

  • yes friend but I'm talking about the csd dd line

  • they tell already, at some point in future qr2 comes as default for every steering wheel

i have mixed feelings about that, stronger nm stuff give you better details that is for sure. for example with 2nm it's so hard read details what comes from game. but there comes also this barrier where you just can't go over that easy anymore, no matter what hardware you use

and this kind barrier makes me think that Fanatec is good, they to have kind off friendly price and not too much overpriced

i to have DD2, sometime ago when i todo some software tests between DD2 and CSL DD, i to saw that DD2 is way more accurate than CSL DD self.

i guess because off price level, i not say that CSL DD is bad or anything but there is something what just makes DD2 better
