Mclaren GT3 V2 + CSL DD 5nm setup
My Mclaren GT3 V2 steering wheel and my CSL DD 5 nm base are coming slowly. I want to prepare in advance what and how I need to set it up in order to be able to use it. Can you help me with the steps to go through? The assembly will go well, I'm only thinking about what needs to be downloaded, what needs to be updated (how) and the like.

Just download the drivers and fanlab from the website. Dont install them yet, wait until the hardware arrives.
Make sure you have a bit of space to put everything together.
Upto you if you do the firmware updates, there is a element of risk there with the current state of support. Just thought I would mention it.
So, if I understand correctly, the firmware update is not mandatory then?
I haven't updated my firmware since first getting my DD! If it works when you first set it up, I would probably steer clear of any firmware updates, If you experience any issues after them, you're likely to be waiting a long time for any support.
