I think they are trying to full full the actual orders queue First, so restocks for "most requested items" are going to be quite slow.
For example my order includes an item which was supposed to be available today, but the restock date was changed straight to April 30 since all the receives items at the werehouse were probably already sold and waiting for beeing shipped.

I’ve asked but just get automated replies about Covid 19 delays which don’t help at all.
