Monte Carlo Podium Button Module Rally (PBMR) Tuning Setups In EA WRC PS5

Hi Fanatec community.

I have just been trying out the Monte Carlo wheel (Podium Button Module Rally with Podium Hub on my GT DD Pro 8Nm) on EA WRC PS5. I was aware of the sequential shifter issue and the fact you need a dual sense controller to navigate game menus but I also seem to be having issues with the game not recognising my advanced tuning custom setups.

It all seems to calibrate OK, store the ‘Vibration’ settings I like from simracingsetups.com in game and also set my custom tuning setups via the wheel but I immediately get a sense when trying a stage that the custom tuning setups do not seem to be active. The snappy, unpredictable handling is there. If I close the game and swap out the wheel/PBMR/Podium Hub for my stock Gran Turismo Pro wheel and relaunch EA WRC the handling is fine again.

I assumed the advanced tuning menu setups would be stored in the wheelbase and transparent but maybe I’m wrong or it does actually matter which wheel/hub/module is fitted.

Does anybody have any ideas or anybody else experiencing the same?
