Pedals not working with AMS 2

Been playing AMS2 for several months with CSL DD and V3 pedals. The pedals are separate. Today the pedals stopped working. When I calibrate the wheel and the pedals in the Configuration menu they are both recognized but when I go to the Edit Assignments menu the pedals are shown on the same axis as the wheel and I can't change it. Everything works in other games. I have verified the files on Steam, I've deleted the control scheme and redone everything and still doesn't work.
