I'm having similar issue on my Button Module Endurance since driver 450. Others have reported the same problem as yours. Mine is rather it misses inputs than multiplies them. If I test the funky switch in Fanatec control panel it works perfectly fine. Also works perfectly fine on the LCD screen of the wheel. If I test in windows game controllers panel it misbehaves. However, when I use Joy2key program and assign any key like [ to funky left and ] to funky right then EVERY single switch gets registered perfectly which is easy to test in Notepad e.g. Which means there is something wrong on Fanatec-Windows line since Fanatec-joy2key-windows works fine. Updating to W11 23H2 didn't change anything.
Give it a try. I know it sucks to start having using 3rd party apps because something gets screwed after an update but I don't think Fanatec is willing to investigate it.
1) So you would have to roll back to driver v450 or v451 as they are the only ones with Wheel base firmware v622 for CSW v2.5, would recommend v451 as it was stable for ages.
2) Secondly, you would have to do a "Manual Firmware update / roll back" to the Wheel base FW v622.
3) If you did all of this and it failed, what did it say or do when it failed, post your complete Fanatec logs could give some more clues to what is happening.
@Maurice - why you are ignore question about CS DD brick? We are really need info, that hardware issue, incompatibility with some tools of wheels and hubs or just software issue and skip 455 driver allow to safe base?
I was order DD+ on 04 of November, cancelled order on 20 of January and bought CS DD. My friend has got it few days early and now waiting a respond from support, because after update to 455 it
455 does not brick the CS DD as I stated, I updated. It is probably bricked because some people doesn't remove the wheel rim when the firmware manager asks this when installing the WQR firmware (but this is just an assumption).
I guess, bricked CS DDs must be sent to RMA for fix if the WQR fw version number is 0.0.0.0.
I think there should be more checks for these cases in the firmware install procedure, or larger fonts (maybe red) for warning about this (if my assumption about the issue is correct, which I'm not sure about).
try to turn power off your cs dd base during booting at start, then is it bricked when you have a broken wheelbase.
Some people has bricked their base by pressing (and hold) the power button during booting for entering the xbox mode. I thing, it‘s firmware problem, the firmware have to reset everything afer restart and must work alltimes.
Tell me Maurice, i will receive a new CS DD after a RMA. What driver i'd have to use ? 454, 455 or waiting for 456 ? I'm really lost with everything i'm reading here.....
I can’t believe you guys keep releasing new products when the new ish ones you have still are broken, when is the WRC module going to be fixed for sequential shifting using the Fanatec shifter?
HI all my csl dd overheated last night , after around 90 minutes into a 120 minute race. The ffb started to feel a bit grainy. It's never done this before untill I updated to the latest driver and imported Maurices profiles for individual cars on iracing. I've also upgraded to the csl universal hub v2 with the new sparco p310, which is around the same weight as my mclaren get rim. Just wondering if any one had any ideas on what may be causing this?
The aluminium fins on the outside was quite hot and I've never experienced this before. It felt like something some coarse sand was in the motor, just didn't feel right. I'm going to try and delete everything , all the drivers and wheel settings and hopefully this helps. Whats the best driver to install?
Do "known issues" also affect CS DD/DD+ like they do CSL versions? If so, how many years it will take this be fixed? It took WAY too long for Podium version...
The grainy FFB in rF2 is a game issue. It is caused by the game spamming the DPR channel when entering the menu. This can be workarounded by setting DPR to OFF and change some settings in the Controller ini file so the game stops spamming that channel.
When the FFB gets grainy in other games then the base is affected by a Hardware issue.
Today I have tested 2 different F1 Wheel eSports V2. One my own and another of my friend. After Power On the base with attached Steering Wheel, no one of the both will be recognized. When I plug-out and plug in it then it works. But my Fanatec RS Wheel works fine with both methods and will be recognized alltimes.
Hardware or Firmware Problem of the Base? (CS DD) I have opened a new RMA Ticket because this.

NEW I saw that fanatec are releasing the famous dd+ with PLAY STATION license.
I bet that the 456 driver will also be released this week!!!
how many problems has the play station license brought us..

455 does not brick CS DD bases per se.
Nothing more to add at this point.
That mean fanatec doesn't investigate the reason why bricks CS DD? First time it was published in this forum on November.
All cases when base was bricked was happened with endurance hub or formula 1 wheel. Please, try to be more open for your customer.
More then 100 days after order went me little bit nervous.

Nice to read it, but sad that it wrote user, not fanatec employee.

Buonasera amico, vorrei saperlo dopo averlo inviato a Fanatec per posta. hai ricevuto un tracking?
Come faccio a sapere quando arriverà l'RMA da FANATEC?
I didn't receive any tracking number. The package came as a complete surprise.
So I can't know when the package will arrive and when they will bring it back to me My CSL

Thanks you for your advice !!
Darauf werden Sie vermutlich KEINE Antwort erhalten.
ich habe diese Frage auch schon an den Fanatec-Support gestellt und KEINE Antwort erhalten.
Please post in English according to the forum rules.
CS DD users should use driver 455.
Oh excuse me
I didn't know that a German company only had English correspondence

There is no ETA for a fix of the SQ PS5 issue yet. It is still under investigation.

i don't know what that grainy exactly means but i to seen the FFB effect issue,
its like the one FFB effect turns into totally something else.
and worst part is if it happens at the race start. then you fill be stuck with that the full race

Hello two questions ?
1) CSL DD will continue to have the problem of "grainy damping issues" with the new LeMansUltimate like in rFactor2 ?
2) The solve of the problem of "grainy damping issues" on rF2 that is promised since 2021 will be solve in the future ?
Thanks
What do you mean?
The grainy FFB in rF2 is a game issue. It is caused by the game spamming the DPR channel when entering the menu. This can be workarounded by setting DPR to OFF and change some settings in the Controller ini file so the game stops spamming that channel.

ok, that sand thing may come from Fanatec software, drivers or firmware. i to recently tested FFB effects and one off them makes that
Never had such issues with my DD pro…not even after 3-4 hours. Only issue was a constant vibration which was eliminated after support replaced pcb.
at least on my cs DD+ no issues after I’ve tested it excessively last weekend
If it is caused by the game, why the others brands of DD don't have the same problem ?
Because they dont use a separate DPR channel.
Hello Maurice,
Is there any news about my problem?
