UK folks who placed an order - look again at your tracking if you have it
Mine just got updated to 'on the way' this evening (Wednesday 27th September) and I understand many others have had the same update.
One thing I've learned during this whole shebang is not to get my hopes up but fingers crossed this indicative of a resolution at long last.

Likewise: all parcels now marked 'on the way'. Earlier this evening around half were done, the rest unchanged, so anyone checking and finding the same situation, give it an hour or two.

My order remains "returned to sender" and no update from Fanatec despite several emails. I'm expecting a reply with more bs and another week or two delay...
My have been on "Label Created" for almost a week now. I am living in Oslo, Norway. Our shipment is probably not prioritised as much as the UK. Nice to hear the prosses is starting well. Cant be long until mine is sent

When did you place your initial order? I ordered on the 6th, so I am unsure if I was in the 11th/12th UPS email mistake thing that Fanatec mentioned or not. Either way, it was returned to sender..
30th August. I have no idea if mine was in the batch that got to the warehouse on 11th12th tbh.

Mine is from 31st of august I’ve seen mine is in the way as well? Glad it’s finally moving. Anyone have any clue how long the UPS delivery takes to the uk?
I just checked the UPS website for turnaround times from Fanatec's location in Germany and all going well (a tall order, I know!) you're looking at 3-5 days from warehouse to your doorstep - possibly a bit more, possibly a bit less I guess, all assuming it's going by UPS Standard.

I just checked my tracking with ups now got a delivery date
I also have a delivery date for my 5 Sept order to the UK. Latest status says 'Export scan', and is timestamped a few minutes ago. At the same time, the estimated deivery date has been pushed back a day.
However, I also note Jóhann's comment here: https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/28231/ups-says-clearance-information-required#latest which echoes what others have posted about missing customs documentation.
Digging around on the UPS site it does seem customs/VAT can be paid via the UPS site, assuming the paperwork is available for your shipment.
My guess is that customers outside the EU are still going to see delays and returns-to-sender.

I live in the UK and this is exactly what happened to me.
In a few days they will likely update your order to "Returning to sender".
My item is now back with Fanatec. Despite sending them several emails, I've had no response, no order updates, no apologies... nothing.
My original order was on the 29th August.
Same for me, ordered the 1st September, all 4 packages returned to sender on the 27th. The Wheel-slide they accidentally didn't include in my original order they "completely shipped" on the 22nd Sept hasn't even left the warehouse.
I haven't heard anything from UPS and have been checking UPS my choice hoping I'd get so lucky as to have to pay the customs fees.
Fanatec is the worst company I've ever come across.

No. I don't expect that to happen until the shipment arrives at UK customs - assuming the necessary documentation is available. Meanwhile, at 01:00 my shipment status was updated as follows:

Spoke to UPS. Fanatec failed to provide export documents. Been advised to contact Fanatec for them to then provide the docs to ups.
Hah I feel the same, I've had enough I'm taking my money elsewhere. Imagine getting it and something is broken or damaged or you're one of the unlucky ones that it burns itself out and you need to RMA. You'll be lucky to be racing by Christmas.

Returned from a weekend away from the computer to find the shipment of my 5 Sept order had arrived in the UK and had Import fees to pay. I learned this by checking the UPS tracking service - no contact/messages from either Fanatec or UPS. Eventually managed to pay the fees on the UPS site (that part of the process is broken, too), and now have a delivery date.
Also this morning, a response from Fanatec to my email of 26 Sept - a response time of 6 days, in case anyone is in the queue.
Turns out it hadn't arrived in the UK after all. I do wish the information provided was ... informative:
