Not like that Fanatec, not like that
- You expect us to change QR and do it on our own, even without a guide, without a video, and without the right tools (you should include a torque wrench). Moreover: csldd or ddpro users who have not had the problem of disconnections, risk to have them later for not having tightened it properly.
- Still on the subject of disconnections: people who have complained about such disconnections are told to tighten the clamp properly, some have even sent the base in for repair and simply tightened it. Now on the QR2 the clamp is different, why is this new clamp not offered to us customers who already have the csldd/ddpro?
- The cost for the user is very high, and Fanatec does not help the customer to make the change, no discounts for volume purchase, no renewal plan or anything like that. What's more, to the shipping you have to add a wonderful 52€ (here in Spain) even now that they are taking longer to ship.
- If I want to buy a steering wheel today, with QR1, it turns out that the QR1 is out of stock and I am forced to buy the QR2 for 100€ more.
Shall I go on or is this enough?

You are absolutely right.
I wanted to order the GT DD Pro bundle for PS5 with the formula V2.5 wheel.
After trying to order for the past 16 hours, I finally get in the checkout zone and then I see this:
The QR1 is not in stock, and the QR2 base connection is sold out. This means that no matter what I do, I cannot connect my formula wheel to the base...
Fanatec, FIX THIS SHIT. What happend to your statement? "We have enough QR2 stock, don't worry"???
But it's really not the time to buy now! Don't you read that shipments are practically collapsing and that people are waiting more than a month for delivery?
If QR1 is finished, wait for QR2 to be officially paired with wheelbases.
If they cannot meet demand, then issue a statement that you are not taking new orders until the problems are fixed. And don't launch a new product either. Its like people say, customers are left in the cold and the youtubers and influencers are all promoting new product that they can't even deliver...
To bad Moza doesn't have ps5 support yet. Hope they do soon.
There are videos available on how to change the QR on the base and on the steering wheels. But currently only accessible with QR codes on the products.
QR1's are already up on ebay.
Tighten the clamp 8nm. How do I measure that torque? They don't even comment on it, because they don't include the proper tools, not all of us are engineers. It seems to me that they are so professional for some things and not so much for others.
Absolutely right.
The part of the QR2 to fix in the base MUST be free for people who buy a new rim with QR2.
This QR2 is here to solve a well known flex problem, can't cost so much money.
Disgusting.
Just go and buy a torque wrench. They are handy tools to have.
Is there a base side video too?
