My GT DD wheelbase firmware won't update...

I'm currently at 1.1.5.4 and the latest is 1.1.8.5
When I try to update it, it's stuck here and if I click it I get Not Responding...
Meanwhile my wheelbase just keeps flashing blue power led. I'm able to pull the plug and reconnect the power and I can still use the wheel. But I just can't update the firmware. Everytime the same result.
Is there some trick I can do?

Uses an intermediate driver version. Probably the two versions, the one you have and the one you want to upload, are too far apart.
I went through some older drivers, 440 fw is 1.1.6.4 and 439 fw is 1.1.4.5... Now I wonder where did I get my fw...
I also tried uplugging all accessories and the 440 driver, still the same symptoms...
