My brand new universal hub V2 for xbox wont stay in xbox mode, but rather slips back to pc mode

Yet the mclaren gtx wheel immediately connected and is working great. I just got all of this setup last Thursday, put in support request Saturday. Haven't heard anything since. Podium DD1, V3 pedals, Shifter, mclaren wheel, and universal hub v2 wheel for xbox (and yes I'm sure it's the xb version). Any help/ideas?
