Forza Horizon 3

Hi all,

I found out I could download the old Horizon 3 on PC as I own it on Xbox and used to play with controller. Thought I would go down memory lane and play it with my CSL DD on PC.

unfortunately the wheel isn’t working like it does with Horizon 4 and 5. It’s not recognised even in comp mode.

do I need to back date the driver for this to work and if so does anyone know what driver I need for this to work?

thank you

  • It's such an old game that it wont work with this new base, even in Comp mode.

    Nothing you can do.

So I saw on the Forza page that they released an update for Forza wheel bases but is that for too old bases? Would the early drivers (156 etc) potentially work as I remember using a driver like that for FH5 before they fixed the crashing issue

The driver has nothing to do with base recognition in this regard so no, it wont change anything. In fact, driver 156 from 2012 or so of course wont work with a base released in 2021 at all. Only drivers released after the base will detect the base.

You cant get this base working in this old game, you will need to use a controller.
