Advanced Paddle Module Install Problem

Just got the advanced paddle module in the mail and am trying to get it installed on my formula v2 rim I was able to get one side screwed in no problem, but cannot for the life of me get the screws to go in on the other side. Without the module they screw in just fine, but as soon as I try to screw on the module itself, they won't go. It's almost like the screws included are too short. Has anyone else run into something similar. I'm incredibly frustrated by this. I guess I should also add that I have sent a message to support as well.
