Is there any way that only the "leds" check is marked by default?
It would be something very comfortable for those of us who only want to use the LEDs, to be able to double click on the name of the profile to load it without loading anything else.
As you can read in the changelog it was just intentionally changed in the 1.69.x versions to have all available checkboxes (dependent on the used hardware) checked by default and this will not be changed back.
Improved the logic for checked / unchecked checkboxes:
Checkboxes for saving / loading a profile:
All available checkboxes are checked.
All greyed out checkboxes are unchecked.
If a checkbox is available or greyed out relates to the connected hardware (base, wheel, pedals).
So if you only want to load some but not all settings from the profile then its up to the user to uncheck the not-wanted stuff.
Ok, I understand the current operation. It's not like I'm going to hold my breath for this either, I'm just saying that it wouldn't be that difficult to program a parameter so that the user decides what is checked by default. I think it would be a more comfortable solution for all users regardless of the base they have.
Was running version 1.69.2 and on rF2 ( not that i use it that much ) i noticed the rev lights are off , meaning that for example on the porsche 911 rsr the red light limit on both the game and simhub for example flahs way earlier then on the EBM, so..decided to install this new version 1.69.4.. rev lights seems to be the same but now ITM doesnt work in rF2 :P
I tried the revLED's at the beginning when I got the wheel. but turned it off for a long time and now I'm trying the revLED's again on the BMW M4 GT3 wheel.
But most of the time when it turns on (reaching the RPM limiter) and I shift up, the led's will keep on. Some times it turns off with the next up-shift, or sometimes it turns off when after 2,3 or 4 up-shifts.
Is this something that is known and possible get a fix?
Next question is it possible to have an option to let the LED's blink when they reach the RPM you set?
Fanalab version 1.69.4
@Maurice Böschen did you at some point removed the RMP LED settings for this wheel with the ACC profiles. I thought that in the beginning they where added in the profiles, could be mistaken.
It's on a big list of improvements planned for the BMW implementation sometime this year, including the option to let the button LEDs blink.
In my profiles the BMW button LED settings are still included and working properly, but only for constant lighting and situational lighting like FlagLEDs and Pit Limiter LEDs. I have not set-up RPM RevLEDs for it though because for me this feature is not really something I want to use... For me to have the Button LEDs light up for Revs it more distracts me than helping me to Focus on driving. Also it would be a HUUUUUGE task to implement Button RPM LEDs for all my 360 profiles. Something I will definitely never do.
Still in dubio if i would use the revLEDs, it can be indeed distracting. For now I only use them to learn the optimum shift point, so only turn on with the optimum shift moment. Once I roughly have it in my brain I turn it off ;)
So as i said rf2 ITM isnt functional in this last version and the ACC online counting is still wrong, probably the issue is when that variable gets filled ? seems its being updated when i enter and never again so the total numer of racers on an ACC race is whatever position i am when entering.. just mentioning since its said on notes its fixed.
You might need to re-enable the plugin which is a new one in the 1.69.x versions. To do so just click the two green buttons in the game profile Tab in Fanalab to Enable Telemetry and Enable Fanalab support. Alternativepy copy/paste the dll plugin file manually into the plugin folder of the game.
Regarding ACC position data: in latest version the value for total cars is fixed which was not updating at all before after you joined a Server. So previously when you joined the Server as the third user and afterwards 10 more people joined the Server then the position data would show 3/3 instead of 3/13. This is now fixed with 1.69.4 so it now would show 3/13 properly. That is what's meant with the fix.
The value for current position is also working properly but only gets updated once every lap because the game is not updating this value more often. So it's a game limitation.
Hi, I am having an issue where fanalab does not load part of my profile, specifically the wheel and pedal vibration. When this happens, I have to restart fanalab. If I load fanalab after I launch the game, it works fine. Been having this issue on 1.69.2, 169.4, and whichever version I had before 1.69.2. Game is AC launched with Content Manager. Has anyone else had this issue, and know a fix for it?
Tx Maurice will double check then , could swear that in qualify i was still seeing total players wrong but let me check once more, i know that the game only updates stuff on each sector :) anyway will try the plugin thing in rF2.
The app is in Alpha and therefore only available as a Testflight App. Link can be found in the App section of this forum, not here in the FanaLab thread.
I dont understand your second question, which also is not really a FanaLab related question...?!
I'm sure there must be a valid technical reason why it hasn't been done, but wouldn't it make so much more sense for Fanalab to be packaged together with the Driver/Control Panel, all in one installed piece of software? Not only would it eliminate confusion about which versions are compatible with each other, but it would also eliminate redundant UI elements like having tuning menus in two different places.
Where can I find correct information to install the -- Fanalab 169.4 + Maurice Fanalab Profiles -- , to be able to use it with my whell base Fanatec V2.5 steering wheel base + the BMW GT2 or Mclaren GT3 steering wheel ?
Comments
thx for fast replay man ;)
I'm planning on installing firmware driver 450. Is it required that I use this version of Fanalab, or can I still use v1.63?
You have to use this new version.
hi,
Is there any way that only the "leds" check is marked by default?
It would be something very comfortable for those of us who only want to use the LEDs, to be able to double click on the name of the profile to load it without loading anything else.
No. It is intended to have all Boxes checked by default
Ok, they could still take it into account to be able to parameterize it in future versions.
As you can read in the changelog it was just intentionally changed in the 1.69.x versions to have all available checkboxes (dependent on the used hardware) checked by default and this will not be changed back.

Like I said, it was just an idea...
I have a flyout dropdown for the wheel but not the pedals.
Was running version 1.69.2 and on rF2 ( not that i use it that much ) i noticed the rev lights are off , meaning that for example on the porsche 911 rsr the red light limit on both the game and simhub for example flahs way earlier then on the EBM, so..decided to install this new version 1.69.4.. rev lights seems to be the same but now ITM doesnt work in rF2 :P
do you ever plan on adding back the nascar cars for iracing? it was a big help to a lot of us oval guys
Adding back? I never added any Nascar Oval profile in the first place because I am absolutely no Oval guy...😅
So unfortunately no, I wont be adding any Nascar profiles.

Thanks for the answers (and amazing profiles).

you had a nascar cup car in thereat some point hold up i will send a ss
nvm its still in there i just didnt see it

Cant confirm.
rF2 ITM is working fine here.

any news about font size yet?
for us olders :)
On the list for sometime this year.
Hello
sorry this is off topic
Is it still possible to use the app on IOS?
the topic has been closed as well as in the appstore I can't find the app either.
and now my 2nd question
so far i used drivers for my DD1 639
now i have done 450 upgrades
in the 639 controller - I used the FFS 45 PAC main force
what force should I use in 450 Linear - to make it identical to before
thank you very much for your answer

I dont understand your second question, which also is not really a FanaLab related question...?!
Please what is the correct version of Fanalab for the Fanatec V 2.5 steering wheel base ?
The last setup I see here, 1.69.4 is made for the podium...
Thanks for the help
Depends on your used driver.
FanaLab is always for every Fanatec Base, not just for Podium. Dont know where you see that false information.
I'm sure there must be a valid technical reason why it hasn't been done, but wouldn't it make so much more sense for Fanalab to be packaged together with the Driver/Control Panel, all in one installed piece of software? It's planned to merge FanaLab and the Driver UI sometime in the future but thats actually a HUUUUUUUUUGE project which will take months, if not years.
But yes, it's on the list.
Maurice thank You very much for Your information.
