What is this part 'CSL EP LCK load cell pedal arm'?

I just received my CSL Elite F1 set and upon set up I was getting 0 input from the brake pedal. I disassembled it and found the cable on the brake pedal was cut open a bit at the base of the pedal. I contacted support, and I was told I have been given a quotation for this item: CSL EP LCK load cell pedal arm.

It's about $90 AUD, but I can't find any info about it anywhere. Has anyone had experience with this item, what would it include?

    The load cell with cable is integrated in the pedal arm of the CSL pedal. Probably to make the pedal cheaper, except if you need to replace it.

    So you need to replace the complete pedal to get it working.
