Handbrake messed up BADLY

Hey there,
I bought the Clubsport handbrake a few months ago, and its got a horrible issue with outputting a signal. In games it does output a signal, but its super unpredictable and only gets to around 5% power, not only this but its all over the place and is up and down constantly, sometimes hitting the brake even when im not touching it.. deadzone won’t fix it as the signal it outputs is so weak. anyone know how I can fix this? I’m thinking its the jack in the very back of the handbrake, I tried getting a new cable but that didnt help. Thanks in advance.

Basically wherever you have it connected to you need to isolate it from external interference, in my case when i had one i had to even put rubber around the screws since every other minor eletronic hardware would interfere with it..
Hey there! I know i’m super late, sorry.. I completely forgot about this thread and just remembered now lol. What do you mean by ‘isolate it from external interference’?
I mean ruberize any metal so that the potentiometer doesnt get afected by any other component
Great! Thanks.
How would I do that exactly?
buy some rubber thin mat from some depot cut and put on every place that touches your rig
