Dd pro poor rubber flaking

Does anyone else have small pieces of rubber in hands after a short race? I use my sim rig maybe two hours a week so not a heavy user and do not have high ffb but every time I use the dd pro gt wheel there’s pieces of rubber flaking off. This is making me suspect the whole rubber coating will be gone after more use. Very very poor materials for such expensive item.

    Not had any issues yet but I've started wearing gloves now to stop my hands sweating, might be an idea for you. Having said that the wheel is the cheapest part of the DD Pro bundle if you add everything up, about £100 so quality isn't going to be the best. Not that that's an excuse for flaking rubber. I've just bought a McLaren GT3 V2 which was cheap compared to most Fanatec wheels but is a step up in quality from the GT wheel.

    Sweaty hands, lots of playing - no flakes or wear at all. I wouldn't accept what you're describing.
