Intermittent issue with BMW GT2 V1 - buttons/vibro stop working

I have an intermittent issue with BMW GT2 V1 wheel. Sometimes when I start the base (CSL DD, all firmware up to date) all the buttons, paddles and vibro motor doesn't work but it shows the wheel in fanatec control panel. Removing and reataching wheel doesn't help, I have restart PC with wheel disconnected and turn turn the base on, then the BMW wheel for it to work.

It never disconnects during driving when it's working normally, only when I turn off the base and turn it on again. I always use the screw for the wheel and it's the only steering wheel I use at the moment, the base is mounted solid on the rig. There were no other hardware changes, it just started happening after a year usage or so.
