I seriously thought that if we agree and all of you together we will contact PD and Fanatec…. they will do something!! Needless to say, there's nothing to do!! something must be done! unity is strength guys!! we have to be united to break pd and fanatec's head otherwise one by one they will never give us importance!!
I'm really seriously thinking about selling everything, I bought a bmw steering wheel, x2.5 steering wheel, f1 paddles, v3 pedal, gearbox, handbrake…. I spent a capital and I regret it! when I used the Logitech I had 1 second 1.5 less than now!! absurd and then at every post you have to lose your soul to change the Setting to find the right one!! crazy!!!
But on the other hand Fanatec made a deal with Sony to introduce offical GranTurismo wheel. I can't believe it was not tested before release and it was not noticed... It's both side issue to be honest.
Spaming Kaz twitter for few weeks, I am not sure if this gonna help or will be noticed but worth to try. It seems people care more about some new not needed cars than this in overall.
I also play often with my controler honestly, since I don't have a permenant setup for my wheel and doesn't always feel like moving stuff around.
I think the feedback from the PS5 controller is more helpful to me than the DD Pro... which is frustrating to accept after putting that much money in that gear.
Maybe it is not Fanatec responsability in regards to GT7, but I still hope that they take at heart the fact that a Gran Turismo branded bundle like the GT DD Pro doesn't seem the offer great FFB experience in GT7, even againts the PS5 controller.
After reading most post here, I think many of us are hoping that Fanatec is putting pressure on PD. Again, the fact that Thrustmaster gears are still used for the latest GT championship is telling something... but not sure what exactly since we are not behind the scene of any of those compagnies.
I bought the tgt2 I'm really tired!! it's a joke to make you spend a thousand thousand euros for not having feedback!! maurice, I'm sorry, you tell me that Fanatec has nothing to do with it, but he put the money in his pocket and I have a steering wheel that fucking sucks forgive me but I'm really angry!!!
Only benefit it has is rhe additional rumble motor which masks this fact.
Same for Logitech. You can clearly see in their FFB bar that the FFB is Clipping, even with in game strength set to 1. They have their TrueForce feature which also adds vibrations and so masks the fact that the original FFB Signal coming from the game is Clipping.
So I can only repeat, Fanatec has nothing to do with this issue and it's fully and exclusively up to the game developer to improve the FFB so you have to raise your concerns to them directly.
Then I repeat ...... because Logitech has the trueforce ??because thrustmaster has the t-lin t-dcc t-dfb ( all proprietary software, which allow you to increase the details on gt7 ) ... and we do not even have the perception of a clash front??? come on this is bullshit!!! if they weren't ready at the software level together with their steering wheel, they had to wait to send it on the market or they had to clearly say it only partially supports gt7 without driving details, less than the joypad!!! point!!! if it were up to me I would send mass mail to Fanatec and polyphony!! in Spain in group of gt7 has also made an exhibit to polyphony!! game sold expensive, cars even more expensive!!! but 4 assholes who bought Fanatec have to change the game!!
Hi, I also bought the GT DD PRO 8nm and pretty much have given up on GT 7 and Fanatec as well. What really makes me mad is that Maurice states that he does not play GT 7 anymore, because of the bad ffb and that it is only the developers fault, but when you check Fanatec's website they still advertise like this:
"Gran Turismo DD Pro. Direct Drive for everyone.
Introducing the official Direct Drive Wheel for Gran Turismo®. Combining PlayStation®5 console performance with FANATEC® Direct Drive technology for the smoothest and most dynamic force feedback sensations."
Nothing personal towards Maurice but this makes me sick to my stomach.
Good luck to all the new customers who buy the GT DD PRO specifically for GT 7 and have to go down the same rabbit hole.
Actually, 1.16 made the FFB worse again. The magic update where the FFB felt amazing was 1.15 ;)
But too many people complained about this - imo great - FFB because it felt too light for them so PD reverted the change and went back to the "old" FFB which is clipping no matter which strength settings you use.
Comments
With Software 4.47 in Auto-Setup in every game.
It is good for me đ
Auto Setup is only supported by R3E on PC and no other game yet. You are just using the regular default settings then, not optimized settings.
Maurice, are you familiar with this?

I've sent a tweet to Kaz today, maybe you all should too and let him know you are not satisfied?

Done!!
let's try to do it in many!! and it would be good and right to also ask Fanatec for an API implementation like Logitech

Logitech has the exact same issues in GT7 as Fanatec and Thrustmaster. It's also clipping and cant reach their advertised 11Nm.
and this is the email sent to Fanatec guys do it too!
Fanatec cant do anything.
Dont spam them. They are not at fault here.
does anyone do anything????
That's a question you have to raise to the game developer of GT7 as it's their game and only they can do anything to fix the issues with the FFB.
But on the other hand Fanatec made a deal with Sony to introduce offical GranTurismo wheel. I can't believe it was not tested before release and it was not noticed... It's both side issue to be honest.
Hi,
I have a DD Pro 5nm. Does anyone made a good comparison between the 5nm and the 8nm boost kit on GT7? Does it help with the lack of details?
In canada, with taxes and customs, that upgrade alone is about 300$CA... and I don't want more power (I play at torque = 3 in GT7) but more details.
I was able to feel the gradual lost of grip in version 1.15 but with the current version, I can't feel much until it is too late and lose control.
Every Base is affected by every manufacturer.
Has nothing to do with Fanatec.
So Fanatec also cant do anything other than asking the game developer to have a look at the FFB (which Fanatec did, several times).
It's fully and exclusively up to the game developer if they want to change something regarding the FFB or not.
So all concerns need to be addressed directly to the game developer.

Hello Maurice,
Are you still using these settings or have you updated them? đ
I dont drive GT7 anymore.
Thank you anyway!

Bruh. Didn't you recommend to change your torque settings to 10 with the settings you posted awhile back? lol

TGT2 has the same issues with "dead" FFB.

I think you need to learn to read English properly.
I have never read such a comment that you say and accuse.
Everyone chooses the game they play.
Or else don't play.
GT7 is a game, and they reduced the fbb because of the accidents that happened. It was a decision by Polyphony Digital.
Whatever the steering wheel manufacturer.
Reads GT7 updates.
Is not only FFB problem.
There are a lot of problems.
1.16.
The only great experience with GT7 and Fanatec DD Pro.
Like other guys i spend a lot of money for that.
And is a $%&//£(£)/.
