I've noticed some weird weakening FFB in rFactor 2 using latest driver 434.
When driving first race it's ok, but if I crash and restart race it's weakened in the middle wheel position. You can notice it especially while driving on straight or on kerb where there's almost no FFB and then suddenly it spikes with high force. Each race restart after crash it's getting worse.
In 429 driver this issue is not present or a lot less noticeable.
I've also tested driver 415 and FFB is a lot better, you can feel connection between road and car tires with rubber feeling
Please follow the guidelines on the first page how to report issues, especially important is always which wheel base you use, otherwise the feedback is pretty much worth nothing as it can not be distinguished to one product.
I had to retire from my league race tonight in ACC due to this steering going heavy randomly. All feel in the car was gone and my one evening where I step away from my wife and kids was ruined.
I can see why people give fanatec s**t and go to the competitors.
I'll roll back to 429 as has been suggested and see how it goes. This is not how I would expect a wheelbase at this level and price point to operate. I appreciate the efforts of the team, but at a certain point, responsibility needs to be taken. It is not as if this heavy steering happens once a month. It is every session. How this thing got released (even as a beta) and then put forward as an RC is not good.
I don't know if it is the firmware or the driver or whatever. I don't really care. This is just about standards.
I think I'll go back to V429 too. And it's a shame because V434 goes very well. But yesterday I lost a race at the start because the steering wheel turned to the left and made a full turn while looking the other way and when I left I ate the wall hehe. Waiting for a solution from Fanatec that I'm sure will come soon. Thank you for your work!!!

A question. You downgrade only base and motor??. Or should I also downgrade PBME and Podium hub in my case??? Thanks!!!
You have to donwgrade everything. Even Fanalab. You can leave motor firmware at 42
Ok. Than you ;)

Which wheel base do you have?
Did you use NFR?
Is it specific situations in which it happened?
I totally understand the frustration but without any information or detail its super hard to find and fix those issues.
