ITM does not work on ANY game
Hello everyone, first excuse my english if I do some mistakes.
Second: I own a Fanatec ClubSport Base V2.5 with a Podium Hub, Button Module Endurance in combination with a R300 rim. I'm owning this setup now for a couple of months and the ITM worked I updated all drivers (Base, Podium Hub, BME and so on..).
I have the latest FanaLab Software 1.54.4 installed plus all latest drivers (see picture). I can enter the ITM display by pressing the "tuning button" and rotating the "funky switch", I can see all 5 pages of it but ITM doesn't show me ANY information at all. Not on Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, Automobilista 2, RaceRoom Racing Experience or ANY other game. And even stranger is "enable telemetry" is greyed out on every game accept iRacing (and no, I couldn't check if it works there cause I have no iR subscription).
I deleted every single Fanatec driver, FanaLabs driver, profiles and any other Fanatec related file, reinstalled it for more then 10 times now, tried to repair the installation.
Every single button of the BME is working, tuning menu from FanaLabs and the Base is free of any issues, dynamic FFB is working aswell.. only problem: I can't get any information of the ITM itself.
I'm absoluteley clueless and need help cause Fanatec's support didn't answer..

The issue is that FanaLab did not detected your games, they are listed as "unavailable" and then of course all buttons in FanaLab and telemetry itself are not working.
I see more and more people having this issue that FanaLab doesnt detect the Steam games when they are installed in a custom path.
Whats the folder path where you have your steam games installed?
I have multiple SSD's installed on my PC system, so all my games are distributet on different paths like F:\STEAM\steamapps\common or A:\steam\steamapps\common. And it's strange cause it worked before updating all drivers. And as I tried to install previous drivers.. it didn't help at all.
Can you please tell me the exact version of Windows?
Type WIN+R
In the window opening type winver.exe, hit enter:
Then make a screenshot of the winver window and post it here please.
THX a lot!
I solved my problem! I overlooked a option in FanaLabs, where I can choose to launch a game via a manually selected executable. I did that and "Et voila" - FanaLabs will let me enable telemetry mode in my game profiles and it works with every game again.
But I want to thank to you guys that you replied and took some time for trying to help! Have a nice weekend.
Nice that you "fixed" it, however that can only be a temporary workaround. Fanalab should be able to find all your installed Steam Games automatically no matter where you have them installed without the need to set an exe path...
Thanks, you're absoluteley right about this. I guess with the latest update, FanaLab is able to find games only on partititions on what FanaLabs is installed. There is a fix needed asap. But another thing I wish for future updates is scaling the UI of it. With a 32:9 monitor, everything is small AF.
Small af? On my 32:9 monitor everything is too big, the product images are almost 1:1 ratio..... :D
And it's definitely not an issue of the latest Fanalab update. I have 3 SSDs and a NVME and also have game installed on different drives where Fanalab is not installed and it found every game correctly. Must be a Windows issue I believe...
To big? :D Did u scale the Windows UI? Well.. if not I may have to consider my PC is a wild weirdo. :D
No Windows Scaling, no...
Just normal sized 2560x1440 resolution in the middle of the 32:9 Screen.
I wouldnt call this "small af", in fact the wheel in the pic is almost as big as the real wheel 10cm in front of it and the pedals dont even fit fully in because there is just no room for them anymore :D
are you guys on ACC? just wondering if the game display works ok with the 32:9 monitor?
are you able to setup various displays on the wide screen eg: telemetry info etc.
i am currently using a 16:9 aspect ratio 27" monitor. a 32:9 will give me the side views of cars trying to pass me instead of having to bind a control on the steering wheel to look left or right.
We already know that the behavior that Fanalab stops finding games that are not installed in C:\ is independent of the Windows version.
To be precise: We know the cause, we will provide a fix. Don't ask when!
What drives me a little crazy is why is this happening now and not to all users?
@florian.michael.1804@gmail.com, I would like to ask you to tell us when was the last time you installed Steam?
Steam was permanently installed since 2017. Last update of steam made around one week ago.
