CSL DD - three early units available for review, vote for your favourite channel! UPDATE
It won’t be long before you see a full roll-out of CSL DD review units across all major sim racing channels, but we have three early units ready for review today.
In order to make it as transparent and fair as possible we decided that the community should pick the reviewers to make sure that the test results will be 100% objective and critical. We have nothing to hide and have full confidence in our product so YOU will be the one to decide who has the privilege to review one of the most anticipated sim racing products of 2021.
Please vote for your favourite YouTube channel. The poll includes a list of popular options, but if we’ve missed one (and I am sure we did) you can vote ‘Other’ and name them in the comments below. If you are a reviewer and you think that you should be on the list because you are much more popular than the guys below, then shout out and let us know.
The top three channels with the most votes will be sent a CSL DD unit for review by the end of this week.
Please do not vote twice for the same channel!
UPDATE
The result of the poll is clearly showing the 3 winners: Sim Racing Garage, Boosted Media, and Chris Haye.
However, after speaking with Barry from Sim Racing Garage, he stated that he would rather wait for the final retail version of the CSL DD to put it through the normal Sim Racing Garage review process, which means that his review will come later. Barry is doing things properly and this is why he is so popular so how can we not respect that decision? But rest assured he will be in the first batch of the final review samples and he will take his time to make a thorough analysis and the deep review this product deserves, Instead of Sim Racing Garage, the third early CSL DD unit and CSL Pedals will go to YouTube channel GamerMuscleVideos.
All three are excellent choices and I can't wait to see the results.
Keep in mind that these are only the first three test units, there will be plenty more full review units closer to the actual release date and thank you for all the suggestions for additional reviewers. Please feel free to add more and we will take care of them.
These units are pre-production, which means some aspects of them are not up to the specification of the actual retail units. Boosted Media, Chris Haye, and GamerMuscleVideos will be able drive with them using any game they wish, and test the force feedback with and without the Boost Kit 180. They will also be able to try out the new CSL Pedals for the first time, together with some of its accessories. Of course we will share the videos with you as soon as they roll in.

Looking forward to see Barry, the master of disassembly, getting his hands on it.....

Random Callsign is missing on the list
I would like to request that you thoroughly vet that whoever is given review samples are not charging money for "reviews" from other manufacturers without disclosing it.
I know they would never dare request that (payment to be featured) of you Thomas but I have seen strong reports that FCC regulations may not be adhered to by certain members of our community. Ie paid features may be presented as reviews yet are lacking the *PAID PROMOTION* transparency.
Laurence Dusoswa
I'd love to see one sent to Franconen or Jimmy Broadbent
Please any Spanish guy
And the only one who doesn't seem to do it for free review units that can be sold afterwards. A lot of those reviews are nothing more than a few laps in AC(C) and iRacing and then a uncritically readout of the brochure with info that isn't new.
A majority of those Youtube reviews consist of a clickbait title, useless info in the video and if they have all cabins filled it ends up on a marketplace so they can earn another few bucks.
I would say, just send it to SRG and keep the other 2 for development purpose so they don't end up with crippled firmware after the launch just like the DD1 and DD2 ;)

Voted for Simracing Garage, Boosted Media and i'll add the french channel and website Simrace-Blog.
I believe Barry (Sim Racing Garage) is the one. Random Callsign (which is not on the list) is also pretty good.
I've put 2nd GamerMuscle and 3rd Chris Haye as I like those guys but to be honest, their reviews are a little bit "meh" (especially Chris, for him everything is "fantastic" and "a state of the art")
but first choice is of course me and my 7k subs italian channel 😂

Other: Mazz Racing
Other: Karl Gosling. Did some great videos for the gt omega prime cockpit before it came out.
Jimmy Broadbent is one of the biggest streamers so he really needs to be in there
Jimmy Broadbent
He does not review hardware for free it seems and therefore it probably is not the best choice in the first round
Simracing604
Other. Simracing 604
Damn. That's another good one which should have been on the list for sure. I will make sure that he and other guys we forgot receive review units as well asap.

Barry the Master Narrator & Dismantler, of course.
Got any proof that virtually everyone 'other than Barry' who makes simracing hardware content on YT sells their review samples, to hell with whatever conditions Fanatec and other manufacturers impose? Otherwise, you're just spewing a load of hot air, given that simracers like you and I rely on reviews often through YT to be properly educated when making buying decisions!
Funny you mention Barry at SRG too, who only just very recently updated (as in, within about the past week or so) his website to acknowledge that he charges "video production fees" and has been doing so since October 2020...
My opinion For proper thorough reviews has to be without doubt SimRacingGarage but why was it not listed other popular simracing youtubers like RC, SR604 and Laurence Dusoswa.
Other - Simracing604. He does very thorough hardware reviews.
Never sold a review unit that was sent my way. If Anything I'll send it back.
It would be awesome if a couple of smaller YouTubers such as myself could review this for you as we don't always use the best of the best kit and our channels would love to work with you. My channel is below and any votes would be amazing.

Empty Box would do an honest review but I doubt he'd be willing to do a review.
