v3 inverted not calibrating

V3 pedals not calibrating with usb or rj12. The brake pedal spikes during the calibration and when you try to drive they lock up ? Dont know what to do, emailed fanatec 3 days ago and nothing ? This is for a friend of mine. He has DD1 base. Thanks.
