BRF setting

I'm using the CSL Elite LC brakes on a wheel stand.
Using the 65 springs with the foam spring.
It says the BRF should be between 0 - 40 but at 40 the brakes are locking up. Putting it at 60 to 70 & I'm not locking up & it feels better. However, it's over the recommended 40 BRF.
Any suggestions or can I use those higher BRF values?
Thanks

Brf is just the sensitivity of the pedals. I’ve got the v3s and I use about 90-96 depending on the game
Here's a proper way to tune BRF. It's done on a v3 but should still be the same concept on the Elite pedals.
I have a v3 and I have mine set at 90.

Thanks to you both. Which springs are you using?
Ive got the BPK, using a 13 red and a 13 green
For my v3 I have the stiffer spring + damper.
