New ClubSport Shifter SQ V 1.5 DEFECTIVE??

I've been messing around with this shifter for hours. Re-calibrated over 30 times. I got it to work for a few minutes but MID-GAME it shits the bed.

The issue is it will randomly map all the top gears (R, 1, 3, 5, 7) and the bottom gears map to each other as well (2, 4, 6). And it changes every time I re-calibrate.

I've tried numerous driver versions. I've opened a support ticket but they haven't responded to it yet.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I managed to fix this by using a different RJ12 cable and plugging the wheel to USB 2 instead of USB 3
