CSW V2.5 not detected by Win 10 64 bit Powersupply sounds crazy

Hi there, yesterday I got my new wheelbase. I installed it with Formula V2 rim and V3 pedals. I managed to install and update all drivers of all components. I drove a few laps in Automobilista 2 and everything seemed to work flawless. Today I turned on the PC to try out ACC just to recognize that the wheel wouldnt work. I started to look for solutions on the internet and tried several things. The same mistake occured when installing on a laptop with Win7. The USB device is not recognized. After I gave up dissapointed I noticed that the powersupply made some crackling and hissing noises. Is this common? The wheel and the rim boot up like they did when it worked. Win 10 instantly gives the message that the device is not recognized. I cannot do a thing about it. Tried all other ports deleted and installed several times. Is there any type of hardware reset? Looking forward to your help.
